Jan at Vintage-Hermes-Scarf.com is super to deal with. I’m late to the scarf party, and love some of the past season editions, and Jan is a great source. This was my first time buying outside of Hermes, and it definitely won’t be my last. Thank you Jan!
Another great transaction today with Jan on a Sieste du Paradis 90! I am on ban island for the rest of the year (good thing it’s December )

I had a very smooth transaction with a UK seller listed in Ebay as dblenck. I see that she has added some wonderful holiday scarves to her listings, including de Passage a Moscou and Noel au 24 Faubourg. She was communicative and shipped the scarf internationally. It all went smoothly.

Hi all - I have a question on resellers.

There seems to be many reputable resellers around on the internet, even within my small country Singapore (eg Luxlexicon, Finklepuff, etc).

How is it they seem to have so many new bags on offer everyday, while it seems like the likelihood of snagging a B or K from a Hermes store is usually very low?

I’m just confused as to the supply dynamics. Where are all these reseller bags coming from? It feels like there are much more reseller bags than “official store” bags entering the market.

Does it mean people are reducing their collection sizes? Seems unlikely...

I agree! I'm in the reverse situation: My purchases are all online (Too many scary H SA stories...). I got a Parures de Samourais from this site and I love it.

Can anyone recommend a good consignment or direct sell place for Hermes bags? Im talking to the realreal right now. However i searched up online and it seems like they have terrible reviews So I'm hesitating right now. Anyone have dealt with this company? and how was it?

I would go with Fashionphile, Ann’s Fabulous Finds, Yoggi’s Closet or Rebag.

I second Fashionphile. I bought twice from them and Ioving it. Have dealt with AFF once but the bag that came had discolouration but it was not reflected in their description. In the end i disputed and was granted further discount because returning it will be a hassle as I am not in the US. I will avoid AFF for now.

Something about AFF has changed - to me. I have sold through them, never bought. My recent interactions appear lackluster & disorganized. I'm not sure where to send my consignments now. TRR is okay for things like shoes. I am cautious about pricier items like bags.

Do you feel comfortable elaborating? Would be so helpful. I've had good experience as a consignor with AFF in the past, but recent posts have made me wonder if I should reconsider sending more items.

I consign/sell with AFF exclusively. I haven't noticed any change in customer service, etc. Been buying-selling with them for quite a few years. JME

Many thanks for sharing your experience. I assume you've consigned recently? I've only consigned with AFF, with my last transaction being about 6 months ago. With all my transactions I found them to be very conscientious and responsive.

Yes I have some things with them right now. A couple have sold via Layaway, so I have to wait for my $.
