Hi weili, did you make the purchase from Let Trade? How was the experience?

Can anyone else also share their most recent experience with Let Trade? A bit nervous about the bank wire transfer payment here. Also, will there be charge on customs or tax for incoming package from Let Trade to US? TIA everyone! :flowers:

I have completed several purchases with Let Trade, including two in the past few months. I have purchased via bank wire and had no problems. The bags are well described and they provide excellent service and follow-up.

Just received a Birkin from Let Trade. Authenticity was never a question. From what I remembered reading on tpf, LT's Hermes policy is bank wire only. For my bag, I placed a deposit and then wire transfer the remainder. The bag was sent via FedEx on the same day the payment was cleared and was neatly packaged.

If you read LT's FAQ, it states that they able to declare the bag as "gift" and reduce the dollar amount (which was what I did to avoid customs charges). Don't freak out (I did!!) if they don't reply to your email in 1-2 days. My initial email regarding the bag took 3 days to reply, but every email query after that was answered promptly. All in all, happy with their service. HTH! :smile1:
