Hi Dears,

Would anyone please give me inputs on this seller ?

I am interested in the lindy. It is my first H bag and I am still not very sure what I should be asking her and how to see if the bag is authentic since I am meeting up with her later on. Should I ask her to bring to H store to authenticate the bag? Do H store in SG let me do this kind of thing? Apparently through our conversations, she is quite a nice and friendly person. Not sure if this is deceiving. I don't know why I am know beginning to fear more and more.. Like what if the bag is fake and what should I do? I couldn't find much information about her online and I feel so helpless..

Btw, can the scuffings as mentioned by her website be fixed by the craftsman?

Any inputs dearies? I would very much appreciate if the SG tpFers could help me out too..

Thank you very much :smile1:

I wanted to post that I've had wonderful consignment experience with Nancy at Kaleidoplace. She had great communication and made the whole process easy and seamless. I not hesitate to do business with her again.

Anyone heard of "Apolline"? She is based in France I think. According to her Ebay feedback, she tended to overcharge shipping fees, and I found mixed reviews about her here. I did wonder about her shipping fees in the past, but I was never attentive enough to investigate further. I am trying to recommend a few reputable sellers to a friend, and it would be good to hear a few comments about this seller before I put her on my recommended list just to be sure :smile1: TIA!

I haven't purchased from her myself, but have heard that she charges extra for PayPal fees (a violation of eBay rules) and that she can be very difficult to deal with in the event something goes wrong. She has some lovely things, but I have always been nervous about dealing with her and I would be reluctant to recommend her to a friend of mine, particularly with so many good resellers around.

Skimmy and Luvbolide, thank you so much for your inputs! I have heard mutterings, but I was not sure, because some buyers seemed to have been happy with their dealings with her. But I guess the operative words here are "in the event something goes wrong", since they inevitably do, especially in repeat business. I suppose the measure of a seller's professionalism and quality is how they deal with customers in times when things *do* go wrong. I personally use this as a marker to separate recommendable sellers from those who are not, irrespective of how lovely their items are, so, that is that then  Thanks so much again...!!!! :flowers:

(PS: Skimmy, now that I think back, you are right about the lack of care with her packagings and what you are getting for the high postal fees she charged, it was almost as if she charged as high as she could for the cheapest possible way to post. But I was always too distracted by the pretty items to follow up on the alarm bells :p)

Re: Apolline

PPS: According to her Ebay site she charges US $60 for posting a scarf.
PPPS: Skimmy, now that I think about it, you are also right about the speed of her shipment, given her postal fees.
