I agree with those that say that SF sux.

As for William at Madison, I found him cordial but kinda cold or should I say - disinterested. Typical Madison 'tude.

Wow...sad to hear that.! I worked with him when he was fairly new and he could not have been nicer....offered me my choice of alligator CDCs without me even asking about a bracelet. Perhaps he has now been there for a while and is no longer as enthusiastic.

I think that is how it is. He is prob jaded now. I was actually looking at bracelets and he def didnt offer me any CDCs. I had to probe to get him to show me anything. His loss, since I was looking for a new reg SA @Mad and he had caught my eye.

Try Alison at Madison, if she is still there. Personally, I don't like Madison and have a local SA whom I adore but the few times that I came in to contact with Alison, I found her the best of the SAs in that store.

I think I was helped by William a few weeks ago in Madison, and he was quite nice! On the flip side, it's really hard to maintain a 100% top notch attitude when you work in high end retail... Especially in the Madison store where sales competition is fierce.

During my trip to the US last year (August/September), I've had great service at The Bravern in Seattle and San Francisco boutiques, when I bought an enamel bracelet and gavroche, respectively.

Even had great service in Melbourne when I browsed three weeks ago.

Unfortunately, Sydney is very hit and miss every time I go... and this is my local boutique too...

Hi ladies and gents... I just have a question here regarding what SA said to a client. She said that store credit cannot be use to purchase K or B?? Is that a true H policy?? Thanks for the input.

Definitely, not true!
SA at store B said that since store A issued the store credit I have to buy B/K at the original store. But SA said I could buy anything that's not B/K at store B using my store credit. So pissed! SA also said that if I wanted to use my store credit I should go back to original store and work w them to get B/K.

If I wanted the B/K they will offer me, my friend who I'm traveling w has to pay for it. Ridiculous.

I just want to say I couldn't have been better cared for in the boutique on Rodeo Drive in LA this past week! The SA's there were pleasant, helpful and charming! ALL of them! I purchased a shawl and a breakfast cup and saucer....two non-big-ticket items but they treated me as if I had walked in to pick up a special order croc Birkin! Loved the experience.

Now if only the SA's in the SF store would behave the same way.......
