I'm so confused about the Sophia/Lindsay lines. Do I have this right? There is no such thing now as the large Sophia (at least in the Fall 2011 line). There is just a small sophia and anything bigger than that is called a Lindsay?

Me too. I'm not liking the Lindsey as much as I love the Large Sophia. I think that's why I have been on a Large Sophia hunt lately. Getting them before they are gone forever.
Amen to that! It's a huge turn-off for me that the lindsey satchel straps are so short. I also really liked the length of the large sophia shoulder strap-- when you wear the bag, it buckles in the most perfect way (looks so awesomely slouchy and hobo-ish). I'm not sure about the slouch on the lindsey, though will reserve judgement until I try one on myself. It's so hard to tell with a bag until you've seen it IRL.
That said, I too feel like hunting down as many old-style large sophias as I can, given that they no longer are available.
I emailed CS this morning to ask what other styles will be made in the gray embossed croc. Still waiting to hear back... I know we saw a Lindsey in the preview, but if there is an Abigail in this material I am ALL over it. Has anyone heard anything about a croc embossed Abigail (not the spectator one that is currently out)?
I keep thinking I saw a DD of the Abigail in all embossed croc - maybe the cashmere and dijon. I'm clueless at how to find the DD's....maybe one of the experts can help you out! Maybe even the gray..... somewhere in this thread of 250+ pages, I bet the pics are buried.

(I asked about the gray croc abigail earlier and got this ridiculous reply with nothing but a link to currently available styles in the color gray. yeah way to do your job, "Gladys".)

Moving right along, OMG, I so hope they have that Abi in grey. I would get it in the spectator 18623 or this one 18616. I would get this instead of the Sophia if they did have grey. I already have the croc medium wristlet in grey so I am prepared!

I like both, which one to pick sight unseen?
Cashmere is classic, versatile, neutral, but maybe a bit too light?
Dijon is sunny, happy, vibrant, but maybe not as versatile?
Oh, gray would be perfect of course. I wonder if Coach realizes that. Sometimes I TRULY wonder what goes on in their design meetings... "Let's produce this beautiful, desirable, embossed croc Abigail bag in only two colors, and make them both sorta yellowish. Oh great idea!"

Ok:
I'm going to try on the Abigail in the store tomorrow to see how I like the style. I really love the croc embossing in that dijon/silver. And best part is that it would coordinate marvelously with my gray croc wristlet.
Hurry! My SA told me that there's only about 30 dijon left in JAX--no word on replenishing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
