Town vs. Velo Strap Length

I just tried the Town and at 5'2" sadly the strap is way too long for me (and I'm really not too picky about these kinds of things). I also tried switching the strap to a city to see how that worked, and too long for that also. So, the Town is not for me. Cross-body it hits me on the bottom of my butt.

Now I'm wondering if the Velo strap is too long. Any other petite gals out there can help with this question?

BTW, the strap length of the Town is 45(3/4) inches from bale to bale.

If any Velo owners have time, would appreciate knowing the length of the Velo strap!

I believe the drop on the velo is about 1" shorter than on the town.

Thanks! I tried a velo on at a store quickly, and it seemed OK, but I think I have to try it on again since I've been hunting the sorbet velo. Don't want to spend a lot and then have it be too long!
