I just discovered Tous when I was in Spain last week--a friend loves the brand and brought me and my mom to the store...love it! It is very big in Spain as I noticed women everywhere with the purses. In each of the stores I visited (in Diagonal Mar and Passeig de Gracia) there were lines or groups of people waiting to buy. I ended up buying two purses (both K-12 classic totes in black/tan and black/white (photos are at www.tous.com) and some sterling silver jewelry.

Their items are guaranteed--they give you an authenticity card from the store you purchased from. If you have any problems with workmanship they will fix. I also like that their price points are reasonable. A similar purse at Louis Vuitton would be 3x the price and it is the same material (coated canvas) with leather trim.

I can see how some of the items are too cutesy--just depends on what you buy and also what you like.

I actually like that it is not that well known here (in CA)--I'm sure it's popularity will grow. In CA there are 3 boutiques and you can also buy online at www.tous-shop.com.

I really wanted to buy something that was from Spain--they are the perfect souvenir!

Have fun!

Even though I'm spanish, I don't love the brand.

I also find it too cutesy with all the bears... however they look wonderful on teenager girls.
The best point is that it's quite affordable, all the silver pieces are under 100€.

However they have many many pieces that are not so cutesy-designed and don't have the bear pattern all over. Those are the pieces I love, but hence, they are not so cheap. They work with colorful stones, citrines, aquamarine, peridots and they mix them all together.
I've got a few pieces myself, maybe I will post pics later.

I have a coworker that used to work at Tous, she said that there were some issues with the quality of bags that they sold.. for instance, this one customer's bag just kept coming back. She also learned to HATE the bear motif while being surrounded by it. To each their own, but I put special weight in her words since she was in the midst of it.

I had never heard of Tous until my DH travelled to Spain on a business trip. He usually brings back a gift and I received the bear necklace from this particular trip. Ever since then, he picks up a piece of Tous wherever its available when he travels, so I have a small collection. I like that its rare here and not too many people are familiar with it.

I think the jewelry is very cute and I tend to wear them with casual outfits. I get alot of compliments on the jewelry and would like to continue adding my collection. Fortunately, there is a store in Toronto so I can always shop there.

i think its cute, but it's easy to get something "too cute" to wear.

However I love what they do with their gold jewelry and the fact that it isn't so popular or well-known, makes it more special i think.

I have family in spain which is where i discovered it and fell in love hehe!
but it wasnt massively popular...

so my dad bought me a necklace
which i never take off...

the next year im back there and there are so many fakes of the bear its hard to find the real ones among the public...
... and whats worse is that everyone looks at me as if its fake..

the bear is starting to loose its preciousness due to the fakes...
... but it doesnt stop me wearing mine with a smile!!..

I discovered Tous while on my honeymoon in Febuary 2007 and think it's great. I'm 21 so can still get away with the cute stuff and it is unknown in England (except to those who have seen it when travelling) as there are no stores in England. I have never seen a single person with anything Tous in England and everybody asks where I got my jewellery from. I always buy something new whenever I go to Spain.
My cousin lives in Spain and says it is well known over there but where she lives I think they find it a bit over priced. Also my brother-in-law lives in California and says he had no problem finding a store.

I would say it is a shame that they only ship to Spain and America...I hope they open a store over here!

I went to NYV today and saw an bilboard for a Tous shop in Soho. I wanted to go but didn't have time!! :( Hoepfully though I will go to Spain this summer and I can pick a necklace up then...I think that they're adorable!

I've collected some Tous jewelry and bags since 2004, I'm not fond of the bear but they have some other stuff that's really nice.

I went to NYC in late July and there was a big Tous ad in Manhattan featuring Kylie Minogue so I assume it's being well marketed in the US now.

Major bump.

To answer tbbbjb's question, I think not. Their accessories (wallets, bags, etc) do go on sale, however. But I've never seen jewelry pieces on sale.

I recently got the Tous Bear cuff (I originally was going to get the Carrusel lobster clasp bracelet but ended up caving and upgrading...) and the Snowy Tous sterling silver studs. They are the CUTEST THINGS ever.

For Canadian Tous fans, do not fret if you're in a province that does not have a Tous store. You can phone order from either Toronto or Montreal locations and they'll ship to you (I think it's $15CDN shipping). That's how I got my two lovely items. The packaging is so/so when you get it ordered like that, but at least it's easier than getting it from *bay and worrying about authenticity and/or whether it'll come or not.

I just loooovveee the snowy collection. I wanted the one with the little diamond encrusted centre (anything, ring, pendant, earrings) but it was a bit too pricy for me so I passed. I also don't like yellow gold a whole lot so that was another contributing factor.

Actually, this is a rather recent obsession of mine. I plan to phone order more stuff later when I've recovered from my Christmas spending...

i do like some of the pieces -- the galexy collection is pretty.
has anyone seen the bird necklace anywhere? i can only find the ring online (it's a little gold bird sitting in a circle).
