Hello all. It has taken me so much longer to make the final purchase, but I decided that my fun, travel bag would be the Neverfull GM. I tried on the MM and hubby laughed at me telling me “you’ll never fit all your crap in that little bag.” What I heard “You should buy the bigger bag darling”. :graucho:

However, after looking at a few other bags, even hubby agrees the NF was the nicest looking one. So thank you to all of you for your thoughts, opinions and suggestions. (I had two pages of spreadsheets with all of the suggestions to help me decide.) :hbeat: To you all!!!!!!

Sadly I cannot personally recommend the LV mono Neverfull for everyday use as a work tote. Now keep in mind I do not baby my bags whatsoever but here’s my experience: both side drawstrings broke after getting caught on the gearshift of my car as I was getting out, and one of the shoulder straps is 3/4 torn across, to the point that I am afraid to carry it anymore. The vachetta is surprisingly fragile and the straps really are ridiculously thin. These problems occurred gradually over a period of several years, but nevertheless a disappointing performance for such an expensive bag.

Thanks ladies for the cautionary advice. :flowers: I did find that I had a tote from 31bags that I had forgotten about. This is the bag that I drag to sports games, sit on fields, bleachers, etc. I toss it pretty much anywhere and when it gets dirty I wash it. This has become my workhorse bag. The LV is for travel/shopping; it’s basically the bag that I bought for me, for hauling MY stuff vs hauling my FAMILY’S stuff. I do plan on treating this bag carefully. Not necessarily “babying” the bag, but just being cognizant of my environment. Again, probably not the most practical tote, but it’s what my heart wanted.
