I purchased 2 coin purses in one of the outlets in California last 2016 and i have forgotten about them so they were stored in my closet

I live in asia and it's hot and humid here. When i pulled out the wallets today, they are sticky

Can you recommend how to remove the stickiness? It's tacky.

Oh no. What are the wallets made of? It's it leather or patent leather? I heard a mixture of a little white vinegar diluted with water could help but I would test in a small area first before going all in. Also using a little dish soap with water may help. Just be careful. Do a test spot first.
