Top five shoe designers every girl should have!

My personal top 5:

1) Christian Louboutin (my shoe God who manages to read ALL my shoe dreams; if I were forced to wear only one brand in footwear I'd gladly give it all up for CL's....from basics to casuar wear to professional wear to evening wear, he's got everything covered under one roof and does it all to perfection, at least IMO.....gosh in a second life I'd love to work for CL PR)

2) Lanvin by Alber Elbaz

3) Pierre Hardy (and the shoes he designs for Balenciaga) -- so architectural....unique....one-of-a-kind

4) Nine West (not expensive but comfy & cute shoes that I don't have to worry about for long-distance walking/shopping, when bad weather strikes, etc.)

and lastly.....well I don't think this is for "every girl" as I know a lot of people probably can't stand vegetarian shoes, but I guess from a design perspective (and my personal taste), I adore

5) Stella McCartney - always so EDGY....love it!

nice!

I was waiting for someone to mention Pierre & Stella!

: D

great idea for a thread!

alright, so this could be hard to pick just five, but I'll try:

in no particular order:

Christian Louboutin (pap worthy!)
Sergio Rossi (leave 'em on for a romp in the sack!)
Pierre Hardy (completely insane, but love his designs)
Roger Vivier (love the pilgrim in any variation)
Miu Miu (very reasonably priced, high quality, and edgy!)

wow, i'm resurrecting this thread because i've been shoe crazy lately.
my top 5 shoe brands:
1. manolo blahnik
2. christian louboutin
3. roger vivier
4. jimmy choo
5. giuseppe zanotti
+ my ever dependable options: nine west and enzo angiolini!

1. Ferragamo (Timeless, classic designs- in ANY shoe form)
2. Prada (Flats and Boots)
3. Giuseppe Zanotti (Gorgeous Jeweled Sandals)
4. Louboutin (Always put your feet on the spotlight)!
5. Michael Kors (His Main Line- Fabulous Python's)

Great topic!!!

My top picks:
1. Manolo Blahnik -- surprised to see so many complain about comfort -- they're SUPER comfortable on my feet -- and always so stylish

2. Ch. Louboutin -- can't resist the sky high heel he does so well, but no so comfy (but I only wear his 4 1/2" and up)

3. Dior -- classy and comfy

4. miu miu -- fun, funky and oh so sexy ;-)

5. Gucci / Stuart Weitzman / Giuseppe Zanotti -- the finishing touches to my shoe staples

... and oh so many many more -- but the above I have and love most!

1. Prada
2. Christian Louboutin
3. Banana Republic for affordable classics
4. Roger Viver (when I receive my inheritance from an unknown relative, I can dream, right?)
5) Sergio Rossi

I don't really care for Manolo and I only like a few JC designs.
