I have a sizing question! Just bought my first pair of Toms - the classic canvas in the "natural" color. I'm stuck on what the correct size should be. I'm normally a size 7, generally 37.5 in designer shoes. I initially tried on the 7 and it fit well, except the heels were slipping off my heels. The SA said I should go smaller because they will continue to stretch out and the heels will drive me crazy. So I bought a 6.5, but now I'm not so sure about them. The heels now fit great, but the shoe is a but "short" and my big toe sticks out over the front edge. I'm wondering if I should go for the bigger size and if heel grips would work? Has anyone tried that??

I'm not sure that the heel grips would work, just because the shoes will continue to stretch. I would stick with the smaller size. They will stretch to fit your feet perfectly.

Do they stretch out a lot? I tried on an 8 and they were snug and I didn't like that they touched my toes. I thought the 8.5 fit better. But, is it best to order TTS?

I typically wear a 7 or 7.5 in shoes and in Toms I wear a 7. The first pair I bought was a 7.5, and they felt like they fit in the store but after wearing them just a little bit around the house I knew they were just too big... Luckily, my bff wears that size so she bought them from me!

Let us know how they end up fitting for you!

It seems like they have a lot of customers with heel slippage issues. They should think about making the heel more narrow.

My right heel hurt badly when wearing my Toms. I put a bandaid on one day & wore the shoes all day long. After that, I guess they were broken in just right because I don't need anymore bandaids and I have no more issues. I wore them Saturday and I walked around Las Vegas for many hours and several miles. They were very comfortable and my feet felt no pain! :p

I wear an 8.5-9 in normal shoes and after reading the reviews I ordered a size 8.5 to account for the stretch and they hurt my feet so bad. I wore them on my wedding day and then again to Disneyland and they still did not stretch out. My sister ordered her true size and they fit her fit as well.

DQ, what kind did you order? If you ordered any of the glitters, those take a little bit longer to stretch out. My black pair of glitters was the only pair that actually caused me any grief.

Does anyone have the wedges? I just got the grey ones in a size 8 today, and they are kinda snug, but I'm hoping if I wear them in the house for a couple of days they will loosen up. They are sooo comfy already, i can't wait for summer!

I would really love to get a pair of TOMS. I love what it stands for. I wear a 10 in pretty much everything, and I have a narrow foot. I'm a little worried that they'll be too big for me! where else can you find these shoes in-store besides Nordies?

go to the toms website and do a search on which stores near by carries them. i found out yesterday that there's a small boutique 1 mile away from my house that carries a large variety of them...now i don't have to travel an hour to get them from nordies
