I love Tom Ford! But what do you think about the big golden TF that's on many of the new purses, kind of like Hermes-style? I like it for Hermes, not sure about how I feel Tom Ford doing it. What do you think? I guess every brand evolves in some ways!

Ugh, I hate those huge TFs. I mostly don't care for in-your-face logos. I've grown to like Chanel's interlocked C's only because I've grown to love the brand. I started my Chanel journey with a reissue because it didn't have the CCs. Gradually, I became seduced, and even have a couple of Cambon pieces with the HUGE CCs.

I'm OK with Gucci's interlocking G's, and Fendi's F's are fine, too. But that's because of the symmetry. IMO, when it's Tom Ford's TF or Michael Kors MK, it doesn't look as good.

I haven't seen much chatter about Tom Ford lately-and saw these bags at Neiman's the other day.....

They are defined by bold gold hardware and these are made of pebbled calfskin; priced from mid to upper 2k.

The first pic is of the bag unzipped, the other is zipped to give it shape.....has anyone tried these or do you have any thoughts on the styles-will they be classics? I wondered about the armhole being surrounded by leather and how that would wear as opposed to handles. It looks nice tho....

And I have posted another tote pic-more traditional design.

Number 1 and 2 are the same bag, right? I like that one a lot.

The only think that bugs me is the gold writing, but that goes for gold/silver writing on the outside of any/all designer bags.

They feel...I dunno...different but cool and funky to me. I saw the Jennifer in the store and I thought it looked beautiful besides the gold writing of Tom Ford. I thought the leather felt thick and rich but I don't know if they wear well.

I feel like you don't see much of his bags but I adore pebbled calfskin. I also liked the Alix
