Has anyone seen G Bags (coated canvas or leather) at outlets––or on sale anywhere? Know they're super popular, so they might sell out before they ever go on sale. Appreciate your input.

I would not expect to see the G bag at outlet for at least another year... if there are any left... they are selling out from what some of the gals have posted here.
TODS will probably put bags on sale in late May.
NM still has the Pashmy bags at full price! The boutique has the Pashmys, but they made very sutble changes, like the trim is patent for 09, it was calf in 08, patent in 07. They did tone down the screaming goldtone hardware from 07 and the lining color changes every year. There are new styles added also and new colors.

Thanks! I made the mistake of stopping by a boutique and seeing the G bag IRL! I didn't think I'd be crazy about it, and I thought it would be too small. Well, I was wrong on both counts. I am crazy about it, and it's not too small. It's designed quite well; the interior pockets are perfect. I like the leather and the coated canvas equally, but of course, the leather is twice as expensive. Both are beautiful. Thanks again for your insight.

I just bought one on Bluefly and with a discount, I was able to get it for just over $600. I got a beige one but I also saw it in white and the purple but they sold pretty quickly.

MoSoupy, did you just luck out and log in during a site-wide sale? Were you lucky enough to log on when they had a green G-bag available? Wondering if there is a way to know when these bags pop on the site, as I' certain they go very quickly. I check often, but haven't been lucky enough to find a green G-bag yet.

Have been lurking around just drooling at the pictures. Recently I wanted to get last season's Pashmy Messenger and was looking through ebay. I thought most of them looked quite authentic and even wanted to do a BIN until i came upon those webshops that come up when you type "Replica Tod's" in Google. Oh my!! The pashmy is sooo well copied and they are really hard to differentiate, especially online! Those replica shops also had the dustbag, box and receipt!! I decided to buy through Saks even though it was at frontshop prices but I could at least have a piece of mind.

Just wanted to warn everyone here to really ask for lots of photos from those sellers in ebay... just Google it to see how many fakes there are in the market.

Sorry if i sound paranoid, but I had a shock when i saw how good the replica was. LT Bag Lady, you are right in saying that it is interesting to see what copies are available these days. So... will post pics when i get my bag! :)

BerryOlive, Not sure if you bought your pashmy yet, but if you check the sale section of eluxury.com they have the hobos at 40% off and a few other styles as well. I think the sale price was around $500

Sorry it's taken me so long to respond - haven't been on here in a while! I've never seen a green G-bag on there before, but they just had the black version in the past couple of days. I think it might have sold though.

I just happen to check the new bags section all the time (I'm bad - I have it bookmarked!) I usually check first thing in the morning when all the items are normally available. Try that and good luck! I'll keep an eye out for a green one for you!
