when i got home & took out the blue pashmy i can't stop staring at it either. It's been a week since I purchased it and still can't stop staring at it!

That's what happens if we get an HG bag!

baileylab: see, that the prob coz i dont think i would love the bag so much! it's like.... it's not my mr right-on-paper but my mr-unexpectedly right. KWIM? it's NOT suppose to feel this right. but it is. *sigh....*

the scariest part is, am thinking whether i should sell my other new bag tha't i've been lemming for ages becoz it doesnt feel 'right'. hum, would every tod's bag make me feel this 'right'?

FYI, i have quite a diverse collection (chanel, ysl, etc) but this is the first time i feel strangely attached to a bag.

They had this bag last time I was at the outlet center. I didn't give it serious consideration because of the shiny gold hardware and also it was priced too high for me. But I'm thinking if they have them long enough to reduce the price and they have one in a color I want next time I'm there...maybe...what do you think?

Is that in Expresso? I have the T bag in Expresso and I love the color. I am not crazy about gold hardware either, but I have to say it looks really nice with the Expresso. The outlets have 30% off sales for major holidays. Check under Sales & Events, the day the sale starts and how much off will be posted. It's usually the Tuesday before the Holiday. You get the best selection on the first day of the sale of course.
The next sale will probably be Thanksgiving.

Going to the US next year. LA, NY & Boston. Any place where there's a place to get reduced-priced Tod's like an outlet store?
And when sales are held? For private sales, do I need an invite to get in?

I got that pic from Eluxury. They are calling in dark brown. My first impression (not really liking all the gold) was probably correct. Nice bag though.

The Tods outlet store where I've gone is in Primm, Nevada, outside Las Vegas. It's maybe 90 minutes from LA. They have some bags for about half of full retail and then they have some that are additional 30-75% off of that. You might want to call them and ask about specific styles and colors if you have time to drive down there. Premium outets outside of Palm Springs has a lot of nice stores but not Tod's.

I adore Tods and am very pleased to see this thread revived. I also thought when I last visited the Tods concession in Selfridges that the shoes for the coming season were gorgeous too - a great, discreet, chic brand.

Yes, one thing I like about Tods is that I have not seen their bags at discount stores (TJ Maxx, Off 5th, etc.). Seems like the only place they are discounted is online or at their own outlets.

Sorry...this is wrong...Primm is near Vegas but it's a lot more than 90 minutes from LA...more like 4 hours.
