Hey ladies,
I have a question about the legendary TOD's Loafers

-Are they ultimate driving shoes?
-Are they more for leisure or everyday?

Hi, I wanted to try myself since its true TODS loafers are kind of legendary. My personal opinion: nothing really special about them. I think not worth spending so much, sale snatch is ok.;)

They look great, the leather screams good quality. I bought the gommini driving shoes for leisure but oddly they give me foot cramps. I prefer Tod's ballerina flats.

honhon - I cannot wear the driving mocs as regular shoes, I'm too worried the bottom would wear. But I do have a few pairs of the Ivy mocs. These I love and could wear them everyday.

Am tempted to get the leopard pony hair driving shoes/loafers. I plan to use it outdoors maybe once a week? I do walk quite a lot but usually on the street/pavement/malls. Would this be ok? Also, is it really not repairable once the rubber things wear off? Can't it be brought to a cobbler and have a whole sole fitted?

It depends on your cobbler. I once owned a pair of Loro Piana Belgium driving mocs. They wore down in less than a week, and my cobbler replaced the sole. You should ask your cobbler what magic he ri she can do. If you don't already have a good cobbler and do live in a big city, I have a tip. Find out who the local ballet company, dance schools and theaters use for their shoes. Then, approach that cobbler.

I have a question. Does anyone by any chance know that there tods g line easy sacca (selleria sacca) that comes in size small? The seller said it was smaller than the media. Just ard 7×8 inch?

There was a G-Line Easy Sacca Mini. I have it in black coated canvas and it is ~8" x 8". The strap is long so you can use it as a cross body bag. Great bag...time to get it out of it's box! I bought it from Bluefly about 16 months ago, and I do not know what I paid for it.

Where are the Tod's people. Not a lot of chatter in here! I have completely fallen in love with this brand. And I don't even have my first bag yet. It's in the mail.

But I'm an obsessive shopper. So I've continued to look at the Tods styles. I love them. I'm very close to buying another bag. I really loved the bags that were posted in the new line.

Hope to hear from some of my fellow Tod's fans soon.:smile1:

BTW - Tod's US Customer Service says they us The Leather Spa in New York. You can google it and get the link. You can fill out the online repair form and mail your bags to them. They will call you when they get the bag and talk to you about it before they do the work.
I'm sending them the strap from one of my Tod's bags and a Tory Burch bag that also needs a hardware fix.

Hi girls and guys, I have a bit of urgent question and I currently can't open up a thread.. I don't know if I can post a question here but I will do anyway..

So I bought a suede loafers in pink and I wore it once, I got a bit of dirt and water underneath it, I didn't know I couldn't use damped cloth to wipe a suede (blame my idiocy) as it is my first suede shoes. Now the under part has dark blot because of the damped cloth.. The fuzzy texture also gone on the darker blot part. Ever since that time I have never wear my pairs again because I am too scared to ruin it..

I recently bought Apple Garde Water and Stain Proof Spray for my other shoes and I was thinking if I can use it on my Tod's? Will it ruined the suede? Darken the colour? Will it mattify (no more fuzzy suede texture) the suede?

I emailed Tod's CS but I have yet to receive a reply.. I once asked a Tod's SA and she told me not to use any thing / product on Tod's suede because Tod's suede is special and not like normal suede.. So I am really scared and not sure on going to protect it with anything or even wear it!

Anyone can brighten my view? :(
