To those planning on purchasing shoes from net-a-porter PLEASE be careful! I ordered JC shoes and they sent the wrong color and when I returned them they sent them BACK to me and said they DO NOT carry that color!! Absolutely ridiculous!
 
^ Yes! I just left a message. they returned the shoes with a note stating that the shoes are missing the net-a-porter tag (the one they attach to shoes) and they do not carry it in the color they sent me. I hope they refund me otherwise I am contacting my CC for a dispute.

I have only received the best customer service from NAP as far as shipping and returns go. Every store you order from has a strict shoe policy- including showing no wear and making sure tags are still attached. Did you happen to wear the shoes and or detach the tag?
 
I think what she meant was that NAP were accusing her of sending back shoes they didn't send her in a colour they don't even stock but they sent the poster the wrong colour anyway - that's how I read it. Never had any issues like that myself either though.
 
Does anybody know if NAP accept returns for items bought on sale? I wasn't sure which size to get in a dress so purchased it in two sizes and just realised that they might not offer refunds for sale items!

They still accept returns for items bought on sale. You just need to sign in to your account (you needed to create one when you placed your order) and create a return or exchange. I believe you can also reply to the emails that you've received from Net-A-Porter and request a RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization). Just be sure to do so within about a week of receiving your order. Good Luck!

No, I never wore them. I sent it back because they were brown (I ordered turquoise) and they told me "We cannot accept your return because we do not carry it in brown" So how the hell did I get them in brown?!! I ended up filing a chargeback with my CC. Prior to that I never had a problem with NAP.

I am interested in purchasing a bag from Net a porter & I am living in AUstralia where VAT does not apply. Just wondering, will taxes & duties applies when purchasing the item? (in other words, the VAT shd be deducted when you check out?)

:shucks:oh no!!! I'm sorry that happened to you. I did a search for NAP and stumbled across this thread..I received my order from NAP just this morning and they also sent me the wrong shoes!

I ordered a pair of Miu Miu glitter and calf hair pumps (full glitter with calf hair toe cap & heels), on their website that's the only version available (which is the version I want). The style I ordered also comes in a reverse version (full calf hair with glitter toe cap & heels) available at Miu Miu boutiques (but not on NAP), and NAP sent me this reverse version instead of the one I ordered. I called NAP customer service immediately after opening the box and scheduled an exchange but after reading your story, I'm worried they might do the same to me as the version I received is also not pictured on the website. I'm sending the shoes back later today and have to wait for a few days til they receive and process them in the UK..fingers crossed they don't screw up :sad:

The person I spoke to was some supervisor/manager and they were so rude too! They sent back the shoes to me with a letter saying they don't carry the color and they cannot accept the return. I should've known better and filed a dispute with my CC but just let it go. Don't let it go and fight it! What they do to people is wrong. I wish I never signed for the shoes and disputed it.
