Anyone else having any issues with NAP lately? I always used to use them because of their fast and good service but the last few weeks I have been on a bit of a spree and the service is not what it used to be. Right now it's taking 4 sometimes 5 days to ship and they're not responding to emails for a few days. I called them about it last week and the person who answered said almost every call she had that day was a complaint about shipping and contact as apparently they're not returning calls either and she didn't know what was going on with customer care. There's so much I want but i'm about to give up! Anyone else experiencing huge delays? They used to ship the day I ordered or the following one at the latest.
^^^ I've noticed delays in shipping with an accompanying email saying 'sorry your shipment is delayed, it'll be another 2-3 days' sort of thing. Used to be that (in the UK) they'd usually deliver the very next day depending at what time you ordered. Don't know if they've got a new system/warehouse in place or what ...
I didn't get any emails about the delay, the last order I placed I asked them what the delay was after waiting 4 days and got this snappy email telling me at checkout it says there is a delay and your item will be shipped no earlier than 48 hours. I went to check out and it says there is a delay and may take UP TO 48 hours to be dispatched. They did end up giving me a free shipping code which I'm not going to use until things are back to normal.
Anyway I ended up cancelling a few orders. Now I'm experiencing the same with the outnet but I have been waiting for this item for over 6 months. I will have to cancel if they don't ship today because the delivery address I put will have no one there to accept after Monday.
I bought a pair of boots at NAP on their last sale. I was checking the shipment status all the time, but nothing changed. After some days I was thinking: "does it take so long to pack an item?". Suddenly I was already recieving the item at home. So I guess, they just forgot to update the webpage. If I am not wrong, it took around 5 days to receive the item, what is more tha ok, since I live in the country.
I live in a country where they ship DDP, so I didn't need to pay any extra taxes when I received the pack. Fantastic!
Shipping is pretty much a flat rate internationally.
They defintely don't forget to update the webpage for me. As soon as they email me that it's been shipped the DHL tracking reflects that. Unfortunately I cancelled the order with theoutnet too I just can't wait around as long as it's taking and no one responds to emails. Unless you email to cancel for some reason they respond to those real quick!!
Depends what it is. Sometimes never, you might have to wait and see if there's a return or something. Sometimes they do get more stock. If you email them they will put you on the waitng list and if they get more or one gets returned you will get an email and they will hold it for you in your account. Most stuff I look at that sells out they never get in again I just have to wait for returns.
I have to say the service has improved greatly since my purchases a month back. They were taking ridiculous amounts of time to ship, now they seem to be shipping the same day they receive the order.
Wish they were as fast with refunds. They hold on to the item and the money for about a week before you get it back! (In fact Ive seen the item resold in the past before I even get my refund)
Net-a-porter is a great online shopping store. I purchase shoes from them and IMO have great return policy on them- you can send it back (no shipping fee for exchange).
I love Net-a-porter, so reliable and they really do offer an exclusive and fine selection of clothes, their selection is even better than shopbop. However their stuff is very, very pricey some of the items are even more expensive than in stores.
