Dh is exactly like that, he just got a plain band, too plain IMO but that's what he wanted. There is a little gap between my rings too, I do wish it sit flush but I still love it

I feel like I should just get him the diamond band I want his wedding band to be.. (lol) but it is HIS and HE will be wearing it.. So I guess he can have what he wants.. Just this once.. :hysteric:

i like it flush.. here's mine

Ours don't match at all. DH didn't want diamonds either, but a really good sales guy talked him into it. He went from $150 tungsten bands to about 1.5 carats of princess cut diamonds in 20 minutes. Lucky me, huh?

Hey that's a really nice men's ring! That's the style I want to get for my husband!! Unfortunately he loves diamonds after the long search for mine, so he's expecting a whopper LOL.

i think both flush and gap can work, depending on the rings. the only thing i do hate is bands that are curved to fit the ring.
i don't think rings necessarily have to match. i like some matching sets but i don't think there's any kind of rule. rings have to look good together but that doesn't necessarily imply 'matching'. just like you can wear clothes that don't technically match but that will be visually more interesting than being all matchy-matchy and perfectly co-ordinated.

^ I agree I like the rings to sit comfortably & compliment each other but i'm not a huge fan of matchy matchy sets.
I had a problem becos my e-ring has an emerald cut centre & nothing sits flush & i didn't want a curved band but my lovely DF recently got me a new brilliant cut solitaire with small bagettes down the side so when i get my wedding ring it will sit more flush.
:woohoo:

These are my 2 rings the emerald cut is my original & the solitaire is my recent so i can stack my wedding band (when i get it lol). The both modest carat weights but i love them.
:love::love::love:
Oh & the gold full eternity was a celebration/promise ring of my DF when i graduated from Uni.
:p

Mine sit almost flush. My wedding band is plain 18ct Gold which curves down in a sort of shallow U shape because my hubby designed my engagement ring and it is 18ct Gold Solitare and the arms curve so the wedding band had to be made to fit around it.

I can't wear my wedding band on its own - it looks a little odd - but then I wouldn't want to anyway.

Because they are curved - I wear my 'straight' eternity ring on my right hand.

My hubby's ring doesn't match mine at all. He has 9ct Gold plain band with detailing around the edges. Because of the work he does it had 9ct Gold because it is harder than any others.

My e-ring and wedding band were purchased from two different places. They almost sit flush. I like the way that it fits and I think that my eternity band compliments my e-ring well.

I like that I can wear my band by itself and in the future, I can add additional bands.

Here are some pictures.

For me it's a requirement. My e-ring had to sit flush with ANYTHING, and it does. I have no bands (of which I have several) that match my husband's ring in any way.

I wouldn't have minded a TINY gap, but I prefer none. On some sets that I see on other women I love their gaps.
