By that line of reasoning, if you've seen wht goes into making designer bags, you might think it's not a great idea to buy one:

Nothing wrong with knock-offs, although I find better the ones that are inspired by, rather than too literal renderings of designer bags.
And then, it is not like luxury bags don’t knock each other off. The Alma is a knock off of the Bolide, Hermes Trim and Gucci’s Jackie O are practically identical (I understand it is controversial which came first), and almost every brand has its own version of the chain flap bag.

Who are we kidding? Designers rip each other off all of the time - period. Some people get so high and mighty about their particular passions.
I am sure I will have stones thrown at me, but I really don’t care. My sis knows absolutely nothing about designer bags and bought me this quilted bag.

Dare I say I love this so much more than my Re-issue. Which is probably what inspired this bag. I have used it everyday since I received it. And get compliments constantly!
While I think it may be a gray area ethically, I do see a role for these bags. I'd definitely be open to buying one as a way to "test drive" a style I'm interested in purchasing before committing to the designer version. I also checked out the Ainifeel Garden Party dupe someone posted up-thread because my Hermes one needs to go to the spa and will be out of commission all summer. This way, I'd still get to enjoy her -- at least, sort of. 
I just bought the Anifeel quilted bag in medium size taupe color gunmetal chain to wear to a lot of concerts we have coming up....would I ever wear my Chanel Jumbo to a rock concert or a club to heat a band? Hell no!!!! But I can wear this one and not worry about it! And I was just about to order a Teddy Blake Caty and they are redesigning it. I wonder what that’s about? They’ve obviously done very well with it.
Except that a Birkin does not have a shoulder strap. This is quite obviously a fake.
