I have one of those Michael Kors oversized watches and have tried on the Ballon Bleu many times (I'm obsessed.) The Medium BB is a bit smaller and not as clunky/chunky. IMO, it's the perfect size. Larger than the small, dainty Cartier watches for more punch (I also own one of these in the Tank style) but not so large and masculine that it looks like you're wearing a man's watch.

Hi Greentea, indeed, I am trying to avoid chunky timepieces. I already have several, they are very trendy and I enjoy wearing them. But for the price of Cartier, I would prefer a style that would not look dated after a few years. Good to know Medium BB has punch but not so masculine looking.

i know Cartier and other brands have clamped down a bit on Saks and dept store discounts/promos but i'm sure my SA can still do a pretty good deal for people interested in the ballon bleu (moreso in the gold vs ss tho)
