Get it! I'm contemplating (seriously) the new titanium J12 when it debuts in June.
And this is some of my watch collection:
SS Cartier roadster w/pink face
SS medium Cartier automatic ballon bleu
white plain 38mm J12
black w/diamond markers 33mm J12
ladies 2-tone rolex w/diamond markers
ss mid-size rolex w/roman numbers
rolex air king
Not to hijack your thread - but do you think I should do another J12? I'm a watch addict!

I've never seen the titanium J12, sounds intriguing. Well if you are a watch collector and can afford it why not??

I'm not a collector, so buying another watch make me
I also considered Rolex SS Daytona, but it has a similar look to the Hermes Clipper Chrono, so I'd rather have a completely different Balloon Bleu.....

I'm thinking about the ballon bleu in the smaller size in SS myself! It is a great watch. I just can't decide if I should get a more classic shaped Cartier first.

I think Balloon Bleu is on a way to be the Cartier Classic. If you like the look, you should def go for it! Which model are you considering?

I was about to reply telling you to go for the BB but I can't after reading that you considered the Daytona because that watch in ss/white dial is on my wish list & it is the MOST popular Rolex watch & very hard to get! Either way they are gorgeous and if you have the funds for it why not

This may help you decide: remember with Cartier, they like you to get an "inspection/service" that costs around $450 US, either per year, or every other year to maintain the watch. They also have very expensive batteries.

I agree. If you don't wear something and are wanting the Ballon - I'd get the Ballon and replace it with one of your circular face SS watches.

I really like the smaller version on my wrist in stainless steel, not sure which model that is --- the cheaper one, lol? I'd like to wear it for work and casual.

I got the medium for $30,000HKD.

Well, it was important to me to get it from an AD, so the discount wasn't the full 15% I've seen online, it was about 7%, plus no tax since we shipped it home.

Hmmmm.... the best price I got for the medium size is $4100 no tax from AD. Still thinking if I should go for it.......

hi, i believe the medium one is for unisex. does it look big like the michael kors type "boyfriend watches" or smaller? if anyone is willing to share modeling pics, would be great. thanks!
