I have been using the Tivoli GM as the bag I bring to work since the summer. I don't think it's too heavy..I think it depends on how much you put in it.

I have it and love it....I don't think it's any heavier than any of my other bags......I carry all the same stuff as in my speedy plus an iPad and not heavy....Love the design and have gotten a few compliments carrying it..

I put a moderate amount of things in it for every day use (wallet, makeup bag, card case, cell phone, keys, etc.) - and I don't think it is too heavy. Heavier than other bags for sure... but not so heavy that it is uncomfortable to use. HTH!

Love my Tivoli GM! I do not find it much heavier than my other bags and I carry all the same stuff. I can not say enough good things about this bag, it is my favorite
