Tiny black specs on my nails...?

I notice that if I'm constantly painting my nails (no acrylics) I get these tiny black specs on them. But not on all of them just certain fingers. It's so weird. Is it because of the nail polish? Because this only happens when I constantly paint them, week after week?

Does anyone else have this problem?

Mine turn yellow! ush:

It's because the nail polish is a lacquer that seals out oxygen to the nails, so they can't breathe. I only paint my toenails, but the same thing happened when I was keeping polish on my fingernails.

^Yeah, my tips are yellow right now and so I'm letting my finger nails breath for a while, but I love painting my nails!
