Hi! I'm looking to upgrade my engagement ring soon and I was wondering if anyone has opened a charge account with them and if you can use a credit card to pay for the balance of the charge account at Tiffanys? We have a travel reward credit card and I'd really like to rack up points for using my credit card for this purchase, but we do have a credit limit of $10,000. We want to charge the $10,000 to the card and then see if we could open the tiffany's account and pay off the rest of the balance also with the card?

Love credit card reward points! What I do is transfer money into the card when I make a purchase more than my credit limit. The same way I transfer money to pay off the credit card.
