Rumors are going around that LVMH is planning a Tiffany x Supreme collection for release this holiday season or in 2022. I’m really hoping they don’t do this. I can’t speak for anyone else, but it would kill my respect for the brand, 184 years of heritage down the drain. This is exactly what I was afraid of when I first heard about the merger in 2019. Thoughts?

What?!?! Why? This is taking a company with amazing heritage and turning it into the H&M of fine jewelry. Now there is nothing wrong with H&M- but Tiffany is a luxury brand and NOT a trendy, wear for one season type of thing. Ugh! I hope these rumors are fake because I’ll I’m seeing in my mind are red, dyed Oreo charms that say Supreme.

This is precisely what I mentioned about them going with more seasonal collections. And this is exactly what turned me off buying LV after more than ten years of buying their stuff. Yuck...

I guess I can't pass judgement until I see the designs but it doesn't appeal to me at all. And I am in my mid-20s, so maybe they are targeting teens with this collection? I personally think Tiffany should stick with their classic, beautiful designs. A "hype beast" collaboration doesn't make sense to me.
100% agree! You don’t see Cartier or VCA doing this collaboration! If their goal is to raise the bar and be “higher end” it is time they take a look at what their competition is doing to stay relevant.

There are a lot of brands that have had co-labs with Supreme. Louis Vuitton for one..I think most things were tasteful with that. Granted it's not for everyone, but a lot of the collections brands come up with aren't my taste (LV Fornasetti for example) so I just don't buy it *shrug*

Yeah I don't own anything from Supreme but I don't understand what's wrong with Tiffany opening up to that demographic. I think it is a very smart business move. Street fashion is very relevant and high end. But maybe I am bias because I live in NYC? Or people don't want to see people who wear Yeezy's in the same store as them?

I don’t have a problem with street fashion!! I would have no issue if Tiffany had a person wearing Yeezys in their ad while wearing a Victoria line bracelet. I dislike a company like Supreme who markets their stuff everywhere. It doesn’t feel like luxury at this point but expensive fast fashion. On top of it Tiffany has claimed for years that they want to move away from “lower end” products but make a deal with a company that sells $79 baseball caps? Plus, they feel like their collaborations are all over the place- from Urban Outfitters to Levi’s to True Religion to LV.

I would much prefer to see Tiffany do a collab with Nike who has made Tiffany blue sneakers. I think a Tiffany blue sneaker charm with the Nike symbol would do really well!
