Hi All,

It is my birthday in December and I have a budget of £2000 to buy a diamond pendant with but I am really confused and need your help!

Choices are:
1) Tiffany diamond bow pendant

2) Tiffany diamond heart pendant

3) Other Tiffany pendant - jazz etc?

3) Round solitaire 0.7 carats VSI E not from Tiffanys

What do you think I should go for?

:confused1::confused1::confused1:

Do you have any diamond pendants or is this going to be your first? If you don't have any yet, I would go with the round solitaire first (since a round diamond solitaire is a classic) and then get one of the Tiffany pendants latter on down the road. You'll probably get a lot more wear out of the round solitaire. I own a half carat round solitaire necklace and wear it more often than any of my other necklaces.

I have both the bow and the heart pendants from Tiffany's not to mention a few different solitaire ones. I always find myself reaching for my solitaires, in fact I have one on now. So I would say go for the classic solitaire, you can't go wrong with one.

HI Girls!

Thank you for all your feedback! I think I will go with the solitaire then :smile: It is a classic and have been having a look at a few neckshots which look great.

Do you think I should go for a bezel setting or martini?

xxxx

My diamond solitaire is bezel set. I think the setting is really a matter of personal taste though. If it will be in white gold, sometimes the bezel can make the diamond look bigger than it is, but I think either setting would look beautiful. I'd suggest looking at solitaire pendants with both settings and see which one jumps out at you more.
