I agree with Jen. It takes like 8-12 weeks. This is probably my one complaint about Tiffanys. They should really try to get these to us sooner because we need them to get insurance. I was a paranoid crazy person while my ring was uninsured!
I'll BET YOU WERE!! LOL that is a crazy big beautiful rock! But I'm the same way... I realized I haven't insured my yellow diamond pendant yet which is why I almost never wear it - just had two valuations done and asked for them to re-do that one b/c I'm positive I have never received it. So strange... good to know it doesn't just happen to Canadians! It's VERY slow.

For me, they were insisting on an "appraisal" and that paperwork with the replacement value that Tiffany sends out with the Cert is what they were looking for. I suppose I could have gone and had an independent appraisal but I don't know any jewelers and, right or wrong, don't trust random folks alone with my ring. Also I was worried an independent person might not put the same premium on the fact that the ring was Tiffany branded and thus the value might have come back lower than what I really wanted to insure for.
