I just checked them out, they are sweet... I wonder how long they will last. I created a wishlist on the site, and some of the bags are in there, hope they are still available next time I look

Electricladyland has the new style for sale now. Anyone who do not want to pay over retail go get them now ;)

Thanks Kimisin! Love the oxford skull bag ---- hmmmm don't see it in gray.
I'll call them tomorrow and also Blue Genes in GA. and check it out, it looks like the shipments are arriving!:yahoo:

I've wanted the gray Oxford for months. Now I have a chance to buy the original skull bag in gray, it's on hold at a retail shop but I'm not crazy about the big skull. I would probably wear it facing in mostly. I'm not sure what to do but I'm leaning towards holding out even though the Oxford is more expensive and I may end up with nothing. Any advice?

Also I was a bit disappointed that there was no interior zippered pouch just the 2 outside leather pockets. I prefer keys, etc.. safe on the inside of the bag.

Waif..the Oxford doesn't come with any pockets at all, there's no inside pocket nor outside pocket. And it is a bit hard to open if you like to get stuff out of your pocket quick. But is still a beautiful bag especially in gray, even my dad (someone have not interested in fashion) comment that the leather is amazing.

Kimisin,
Why is the Oxford hard to open? is it a zip? could you just leave it unzipped?
Thanks!

I found the gray and I have it on hold --- just a little concerned about the no pockets, hard to open! :shrugs:

Justonemore,
you will have to use two hands to zip and unzip it since the zipper is placed on the center of the bag. Is more of a personal preference in my case, I am just more used to being able get in and out of my bags with relative ease. Do they allow return? If they allow return why don't you order it and try it out first then decided if the style is right for you. :flowers:

Kimisin, thanks for your first hand info. The lack of pockets gives me pause, I guess the detailed hardware makes up for it. I found the original hard to open also, the zippers seemed a little stiff and require both hands.

I've decided to wait for the oxford or another style without the big skull, at these prices I should like everything about it.

Thanks Kimisin! Yes, I think that's what I'll do! So excited to see the Oxford Gray! When you're carrying it can you leave it unzipped?

I love the original TW skull bag ... I saw one at Barneys SCP along with three other styles. I wanted one so badly but DH looked at the price and said it was better to get a Chanel for that kinda money. He just didn't like the leather and the whole look of it ... I still love the bag!

Oh my God! I didn't know that this bag came in grey! I thought it only came in black. I just bought the black baby portabello skull bag Thomas Wylde, but now I'm thinking of returning it and getting the grey one instead. I have noticed that the zipper sticks a little which is surprising for such an expensive bag. I know that the one Lindsey is carrying is much bigger than the one I bought, but it also a bit pricier. What to do????:shrugs:

I saw a couple of these (both old and new styles) at Barney's in NYC. The new style is very heavy. Can't remember if they only had black or if they also had grey, but if someone wants to order from them, I'm sure Barney's has a good return policy.
