Think my HG bag is ruined

I took the bag to FSH. They were so nice, truly top notch service. The artisans said not to worry that the bag would likely improve about 80% as it continues to dry out and also that it is not noticeable. Although I can still see the water damage, it has definitely improved and you would never know if you weren’t looking for it, and even then only in certain light. So I am relieved! They said it’s very important even with Epsom to wipe any water off immediately (should be common sense I know - think I was in the rain too long and the bag was moist for like 30-60 min before I noticed). Lesson learned :/

That’s great, looks so much better already!

Remember DocRide's advice to look at bags from a metre away - not close up all the time.
Thanks for the update picture, but after your unfortunate water experience, it did seem odd that you chose to show it in the bathroom standing on the sink.

LoL you are right about that! I was trying to show it in exactly the same lighting as the original pic

Good news, looks so much better already and I know you will take more care in future. I had a year ago a few waterdrops on my new BBB and I remember the feeling, but fortunately the blisters (actually very flat ones, mostly just lighter coloured spots) completely vanished after a few hours. Lesson learned.

I’ve seen pictures of bags with serious non reversable blisters, colourtransfer from denim etc. so I know you need to consider what bag you choose for certain occasions.
