There is something about Cassie...

I definetly could treat it with a protective spray and I know from experience that suede actually holds up better than many think it would...but I know I am going to regret it if I keep it. I'll keep thinking how nice it would be to have an all leather version:biggrin: I decided to return it and wait for another color. Maybe burgundy? It's not available on their italian website for now...or navy!!! If it has gold hardware...dreamy:heart:
Navy would be so pretty but I wonder if they’ll release a navy given that they already had a blue.

They already have navy made
and sitting in a warehouse. It’s just not known if the North American buyers for Coach will put in an order for them. That’s what they told me the last time I was at my local boutique. Same thing with pollen.

That is so strange, because navy usually sells well, and that is a blue I would like on the Cassie. And of course pollen would be great too.

I don't understand why we can't order them if they're in the warehouse already.
Yea, they were trying to explain it to me, and they said it’s weird how it works. They basically said many colors are made for a particular bag, and put in the warehouses. And the buyers for Coach for each part of the world are different, and they decide what colors out of what was made they will actually sell. And also the buyers for the department stores are separate, and they choose too. That’s why some colors are offered in some countries and not others. And why some department stores will have colors that Coach doesn’t. They agreed it was weird and not smart for coach not to offer every color they make, but that’s just how it is I guess. I know Belk carried the navy Cassie last summer. I should’ve bought it then. But I assumed (wrongly) at the time that since they had it, that Coach would carry it too. Hopefully they will sell them for fall.

I have the Cassie in midnight navy. It was sold On Belks website towards late summer. It’s a beautiful navy also! Here is a pic of Navy/ chalk/ black. I took it and posted it in another thread when someone wanted to see the colors together.

The navy is gorgeous. I would definitely get it if they were to sell it in Europe. Does anyone know if solid classic colors like black or saddle ever go on sale?

I love the style and features of the Cassie! I just wish I could find it in the same color combination as the Cassie Crossbody 19 in signature canvas light nickel/sand taupe - instead of the tan/rust/brass combination that is so popular in the Cassie Crossbody.

Does anybody know if that combination is offered in the regular Cassie? I didn't see it on the main site. This is the color combination to which I'm referring -- https://www.coach.com/coach-cassie-...dy&cgid=women-handbags-crossbody-bags&start=9

If not, does Coach tend to release additional colors if a style is popular? I think that sand/taupe would be very useful to me, but I don't like the Cassie 19 it comes in, especially compared to the regular Cassie. (I love that little close-in strap at the top of the Cassie.)

Edited to add: I read a few posts about other Cassie colors only released in Europe, and found that the combination I was hoping for is offered on the Coach UK site -- https://uk.coach.com/coach-cassie-c...nvas/68349.html?dwvar_color=LHPVT&search=true

I had asked about this, as well. I bought the Cassie 19 in that color combo, but just didn't like how it hung on my body. Wasn't loving it, but still loving the colors, so have been religiously checking every day if the larger Cassie becomes available yet in America. So far I've only seen it in the UK, France, Italy, and Australia. Hopefully soon it comes to America.

Ok guys...I've decided that, rather than part with my blue colorblock Cassie, that I'd dye it all black! I had contemplated that before but then shelved the idea. Earlier this week I decided it was my least liked Cassie (just can't get into the blues) & was going to sell. This morning, faced with a long holiday weekend of cold temps that will keep me indoors, I decided to take a deep breath & do it! Yikes! I'll likely start tomorrow. Will definitely post, particularly if it turns out well! Wish me luck!
I was thinking of buying the deep red/siggy one from Macy's that's on sale for $210, then dying the red part black. Can you recommend a leather dye product? I love the look of siggy/black leather.
