I appreciate your response. I totally understand a little bit of cracking just because of the way the bag opens and I'm ok with that. I just wanted to see there was a potential to get worse over time. I also don't fold it back so it should be fine.

Hi everyone! I wanted to reach out to see if anyone has been having glazing issues on the flap where it connects to the bag? I purchased my cassie about 2 weeks ago and have not swapped out of it once! I'm loving the bag but I'm noticing some cracking, it's minimal at this point but I'm wondering if it will get worse with time?

I've been carrying the three that I have pretty much non-stop for the last few months and don't see any issues. Like Tangerine mentioned above, I do not fold my flap the whole way back. Just far enough for me to get what I need out of it. I don't baby it though at all. Hope that helps.

When I went to the grocery shop yesterday, I saw this lady with a multicolored Cassie. Like a tricolor one. Is that still in production? It was cute. Not my style because it reminded of jolly rancher candy. But i'm not hating. just sayin'

There are color block ones, that are all leather (blue/chalk/tan). There are also color-block ones in a red and pink color combo with signature canvas.

There is a youtuber I have seen who has seemed to be causing people to worry, however if you see how she handles her Cassie it doesn't come as a surprise she is having issues with hers.

You're welcome! No, I haven't. I'm honestly not concerned.

I had the monogram PM and sold it due to worrying about the glazing. However for some reason I'm not bothered by my Cassie having the cracks.

I figured it would happen due to the construction of both bags and so far it's not ruining the leather in any way and everything functions the way it's supposed to. If it happens to get to the point where it's coming undone ( like I've seen in the LV PM forum) then I will take it in. Until then, I'm going to enjoy it. It's my absolute favourite bag!!

I’d consider that as normal wear & tear, not a defect. Flap bags tend to crack in that area.

Exactly. Plus a bottle of Edge-Kote will fix that right up.

I have had my black Cassie since June and have no cracking at all (knock on wood lol)

Was your PM the newer version or an older one? I managed to score a reverse online the other day and it should be here Monday. Still not 100% I'm going to keep it though, seems like a crap shoot with all the issues.

I have 3 PMs- mono, reverse and noir. I don’t have any issues with these three bags. The reverse that I had prior for 2 years had a lot of issues with glazing. I had to send the bag for repair at least 5 times. Finally they replaced it last year and thankfully no issues
