Well my bargain preloved black Cassie is my bargain preloved oxblood Cassie. I opened it inside and thought, hmmm, this black looks weird. Outside we went and it’s weird because it’s not black. I had been eyeing oxblood, I can’t fault the price because I got it for $140 after tax and shipping, but I really wanted black And had put myself on a bag ban. However, if i want black, now is the time to act while new ones are still on selling platforms. Grrr.

I bought the regular cassie last June and now I also want cassie 19 in black or colourblock. I asked the sales associate at the store near me and unfortunately he told me all cassie are sold out
You might still have some luck locating a Cassie 19 if you are in Canada. I am not sure if your sales associate checked other locations for you, but I found that when I asked which other stores I could try they were super helpful and checked stock levels for other locations.
I also find that occasionally the sold out items will be available again online so you could add them to your wishlist to see if they become available to add to cart. I noticed this with the Cassie 19 colourblock, maybe earlier this week one popped up and I was thinking about it but had my heart set on the chalk. Good luck and I hope you can find one!

So the only thing not perfect about my new (to me) Cassie is this loop on the strap. It's loose, so when I'm using it crossbody, the loop falls down and doesn't hold the strap down. Anyone have any suggestions for keeping it in place? I'm sure there is probably a thread or two out there on this, but I'm honestly not sure what search term to use to find it LOL

I'm sure it'll be fine!
It came quite quickly, but it’s oxblood, not black. The seller didn’t specify color so I can’t return it. she had one pic where it seemed to have odd lighting and looked brownish and one pic where it was black. Inside it’s “rusty black”, outside it’s a pretty dark reddish hue. I generally like burgundy colored bags, but the muddiness of this color inside is kind of putting me off,

I've noticed the same. I thought about using a small black plastic or rubber hair band, like one of the tiny tiny ones. But it would have to be just the right size so that it didn't indent the strap at all. Edit - to keep the strap down, not to keep the loop in place. The loop will just have to fall.

Oh no, what do you plan to do with it?

Call at a Coach at a different state and check if they have it? I know the Chalk was still available in some stores in California as of last Wednesday, don't know if it still the case. Also, the SA that help me find the bag, informes they have some in Mexico and Canada, if you live there, or traveling there you can try to make arrangements to get it, maybe?

Thanks for the idea! I have some tiny rubber hair bands, that might work. I'm also looking at Etsy for clear ring "noodles"/sizers. It's like a clear plastic thing you can slip around a ring to make it fit better when it's too loose - I may get that and try putting it around the loop on the back side and see if that makes it thick enough to not move anymore.

My Cassie 19 in chalk arrived from Coach today! I really do love her, she's so gorgeous - but I'm so torn. On the very bottom of the front of her, there's a little bit of "rippling" (I guess you would call it) in the leather. You can see it in the second photo. It's not TOO bad, I'm just trying to decide if I can live with that imperfection or not. It's going to be next to impossible to get another new one for the same discounted price, so I think I may just suck it up and deal LOL She really is so lovely!

Try filling up the bag with your stuff and see if you still feel the same.
