Hi, this is my first time purchasing a Coach Cassie. After reading/watching reviews, I finally deciding to buy one during the cyber Monday deals on the Coach website. After receiving my bag, I was disappointed that it didn’t come with a dust bag. Upon inquiring about this they told me crossbody bags don’t come with one. I find it bizarre that this was their response considering, I watched lots of videos of the bag before purchasing one and they all came with a dust bag. Has anyone else had this issue? Thanks!

I assume you pulled out all of the tissue from inside the bag and checked all pockets for it? Sometimes it is hidden in there. All 4 of my Cassie bags have come with a dust bag so the person that told you that was wrong. The only time I have seen a purse not have one is if it comes from the outlet.

Hi, yes I did pull everything out and checked every pocket and nothing. I was just surprised at this response about crossbody bags not having one. I was also disappointed given it was not an outlet purchase. I guess I was unlucky.

My Cassie was delivered inside the dust bag. It was wrapped up in paper and they put it inside the dust bag. It was the newer sateen dust bag, not the 1941 dust bag.

Also you can go to Coach retail and request a dust bag. I did for my Rogue.

It should’ve came with a dust bag. All of my coach bags have, except the WOC style.

Call customer service if it was an online order and get someone who actually knows better to mail you a dust bag or visit your closest boutique. If you purchased from a department store, there isn't anything that they can do.

Thank you everyone! I just wanted to know if what customer service was saying was true or not. I didn’t want to go into the boutique because of covid. When I called about it, they told me they can’t send me one:(. After I said that the cassie bag usually come with a dust bag the lady I spoke with actually helped me out by calling my closest boutique and they will send me one shortly :)

I bought one several months ago from Coach and didn't get one either. I don't buy Coach much so I figured that was that. Oh well, I don't care enough to want one now, it's been maybe 8 months. I didn't know I was supposed to get one. I got one with a Coach originals bag but that was a high price point.

Same here. I'm so impatient then have to remind myself that I'm not actually going anywhere really, so no rush on the bag. I just want it! I also got notification from the outlet that my rogue shipped on Dec 3, but tracking is still saying (5 days later) the package hasn't arrived at a facility yet.

It's so strange; I went hunting around to read about others' experiences with the Backorder/Shipping, etc and some people had left remarks so scathing that I could see smoke coming from my computer screen. LOL. Some complained about Coach holding authorizations for 30 days (which they can do) and then cancelling the order. Poof! Or cancelling an order outright, but not telling the customer who had waited 10 days or so for something to ship! Clearly it's a first world problem in a global pandemic. A little communication would be great. During a normal hoiiday season, there would be delays. In fact, they're tying to get people to take delayed shipping.
Anyway, I had spotted a Courier wristlet on sale for half off and after I placed the order it showed up as Backorder. Then that status changed to Shipping from store this morning. A little later, I received a UPS notification telling me it was being sent from an area boutique. (That was in case Cassie turned into a pumpkin!)

That is odd because I have worked in banking/retail (with both bank credit cards/retail credit cards) and pending authorizations are only to stay for 3 business days then fall off. If they do not fall off, it is the bank's error and not the retailer's error. All a person has to do is contact the bank that holds the account that was used. The only place that holds authorizations for 30 days is PayPal. However, if you look at the credit card used for the PP account, the pending authorization falls off in 3 business days even though it still shows in PP for 30 days. PP won't even remove the authorization if you show them the cancellation email. They are ridiculous!

I just got an email from the outlet saying "Because of high order volumes, carrier limitations and extra safety precautions in our distribution centers...*etc etc etc*...We're taking care to make sure it arrives by December 25." I have about a thousand processing orders and the email didn't have an order number, so I went to check online and the Cassie has shipped! I ordered it 11/26. Hope this means everyone who snagged the $105 Cassies that weren't supposed to ship until after Christmas will be getting them soon!
