There is something about Cassie...

Thanks for the info, especially the insight from others who have the bag in Chalk. I think I read previously as well that the chalk doesn't get dirty as easily as one may think. But it still makes me nervous, as I'm used to being pretty carefree with my darker bags!
You make a good point though, about the lower price-point making the Cassie 19 a good way to test a white bag out. I just wonder how hard it would be to style, which I know sounds silly because I mean its still a neutral. But I tend to wear a lot of black, olive green, and darker neutrals like that, with an occasional white tee or tank here and there. So I don't know if a white bag would look out of place? What are your thoughts?
I think you would find it goes with more than what you’d think. White is a fabulous spring/summer “color”. All of my Cassies are darker, but I have a few damier azur bags, and I love them for this time of year. So I think the chalk Cassie 19 would look lovely.

I just got chalk and love it. I use Apple spray to protect before use and will use Apple conditioner to get anything out if it happens.

There is a blue color Cassie 19 on Macy’s site.

We have all waited for saddle in regular size for over a year and nothing! Maybe they’ll finally add in one or both sizes some day [emoji23]
The Cassie in saddle was available in Europe some weeks ago and also last year for some weeks. Currently it is sold out again.

Well, I did it! After all the back and forth, I ordered the Cassie 19 in Chalk from Dillards late Monday night, and it arrived this afternoon (Wednesday)! Less than 48 hours - definitely impressed with that. I was a little nervous I might get someone's return, but I can confidently say I got a fresh bag - this thing was wrapped up within an inch of its life :P You can see in the picture that I still haven't gotten all the bits of packaging off yet. I'm also glad I went for the 19 and not the regular - this is an ideal weekend crossbody bag size for me. And lastly, while I haven't really had a chance to play with it since I just got home, I did quickly try it on with my all-black outfit, and it actually looked really good with it. I'm gonna try it on with some other stuff when I have a little more time, just to be sure it'll work with my wardrobe, but I'm pretty confident I'll be keeping this bag! Thanks again to everyone who humored me and gave me some opinions and advice, it is much appreciated!

What's the whole name of the Apple spray you mentioned that you used on your chalk Cassie? I've never used Apple brand before, so I'm not familiar with their products. Want to see if I can order some on Amazon.

Did any of you notice the new LV pont 9 bag? Very similar to the Cassie...the price...$3900! I guess $350 isn't such a bad price for a leather crossbody bag. ;)
I saw it, and like the look of it a lot. Not getting it for $3900 though. Haha. Luckily I was able to grab basically everything on my wishlist from LV before the price increase. (Not the last one, but one before that), so I’m good in the LV dept. If they ever brought Eva back in DE I’d be all over it though. Love my Cassies. I have my taupe one out that I’m currently using.
