If you want to have a fun day without worrying too much, I recommend going for something more rustic and also cheaper. Water on the rides isn't the only worry; there's people spilling drinks, kids running around with ice cream cones, bag hitting things, the chance of rain etc. My perfect bag for such a day would be something with a water proof zipper and chunky leather that doesn't mind the odd stain or rain. Those are the things I'd take into consideration - in the end, everyone's free to make their own mind! Here's to hoping you have a wonderful trip!

I took my Chanel WOC (lambskin embossed Camellia) to Orlando two years ago and wore it crossbody nonstop everywhere for the entire week and it came back looking as good as ever! I say if you want to bring your Disco just do it and enjoy! I'm so happy I did and have such fond memories of me and the bag with my family and Mickey! Have a great time!

Just bring the cheapest crossbody bag (LeSportsac or something like that) that is large enough for a water bottle and you won't regret a bit. The park is full of kids and honestly no one cares what bag you carry. I took my Speedy 25B to Orlando and I think that was silly, having to worry about the bag in a locker etc.

While I live in NYC, I am a part time resident of Orlando and I agree, no one will care what bag you are carrying. I would bring something comfortable and useful-and wait to see what is at the outlets, which tend to be pretty great so you want to leave lots of room in your luggage for your new purchases :)

I have used my Louis Vuitton Eva and Rebecca Minkoff Mini MAC at Disneyland in California and I love using my Eva, light weight didn't have to worry about it either, I've used it on three separate trips and wouldn't hesitate to carry it again. Highly recommend!

I think the Gucci disco bag is super cute! But if you're worried about carrying it around then go for something less pricey.. like JennyErin mentioned above, RM's Mini MAC is a good choice. RM has many other choices for mini crossbody bags too.

Good luck!

I just went this past november! I brought my lv eva in, and it was perf.ect. I travelled light in the parks- just some lip balm, our ids and credit cards, a tiny sunblock, and some hair stuff. Oh, and phones of course! Everything fit perfectly have fun!

+1

This is what my Prada messenger bag is for. It's been on many vacations, even Disney, and it's done everything from riding a bike to going to the beach. Then it goes home and gets spot cleaned with diaper wipes!

We go to Disneyland once or twice a year and I almost always use a backpack. I have the Disney Dooney and Burke Sketch backpack and I love it! It's not too big or too small.

This is what I would suggest also. It's also super light.

Another vote for nylon. LeSportSac or Prada Tessuto or whatever. You want something comfortable, waterproof, roomy and not bulky. Disney park visits are a test of endurance and patience not a fashion show. :)

Definitely a crossbody but not one that's too expensive. They are lightweight and perfect for the parks. I have used my Coach crossbody for several years and it's held up very well and it's tan/signature. They absolutely come in handy for things like phones and sunglasses, especially on water rides...my husband always slips things in it as well...lol. Plus, if it has a zippered compartment on the inside, it's great for keeping cards and cash safe.
