The Worst Hermes Color EVER!?

Worst colour ever,:thinkin:. Tough one as there are quite a few colours I don't like for myself but like on other people, and some colours I like on SLGs but not bags and vice versa.

I can't carry yellows, but like soleil and curry on other ladies. I don't do bright bags, yet don't like SLGs in neutrals.

The "worst" colours are rosy, azelan, pousierre, toudra - tints which are not really neutrals and are too insipid to really be colours with character.

Just the thought of Rose Tyrien in Troika gives me goosebumps. A simple Rose Tyrien will do. Also, Bougainvillier in Ostrich. It's not the worst, okay, normal upon comparing with its sibling's version, gator please.

LOVE IT! We could recreate this pic with a collage of our different Bs and Ks

My eeww colours seem to be on a few people's lists: rose dragee, vert bengale, alezan, lagoon...what I call the in-between colours. Neither here nor there.

Mmmm, Kiwi wouldn't work for me but I wouldn't call it the worst color ever as I'm sure there are people out there who can rock this bag. Actually, I think I saw a pic of it a while ago and it looked great on the woman who was wearing it. It just wouldn't work for me and my wardrobe :p.

And can I add any Eclat Birkin (with white bottom and interior) to this list as well? They look lovely but for me a white bottom and white interior wouldn't really work as I guess it would be dirty in no time...

ITA!! Could someone explain why they choose the bottom and the interior of the bag to make white? Both are places where it would dirty first?:shrugs:just wondering...:wondering

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, castorny, i'm bummed to read this thread right now as i'm in a color choice funk.
not that interesting a story, so i'll be brief-ish. DH saw a lady's BJ bag at a garden affair a few months back and commented it was cute. i took that as an invitation to consider what i never ever ever would have before: a bj togo birkin. anywhoo, since i liked the look of it in my bi-color (w/gold) togo dogon, i took the plunge. having a love/hate relationship w/it as it looks ok in some lights but hideous  in others. how i wish it would fade!
those of you who know my taste know this is a first stray from the browns (which I will always love) and yikes, not gettin' the love on bj on your thread either
take care and thanks for starting this fun thread anyway ;)

I live in a city where people looooovvve black.

When I look at a pop colour I find myself wishing I lived in the tropics. So many colours that I love would never leave my wardrobe for fear of scaring the general public.
For me its not what I love but also what is going to work. KWIM?

The "DoubleBubble" bubble gum pink. I am waaaaay to old to carry off that one with dignity.

Every time I see it, I think it's the exact shade of Pepto-Bismol. Come on, why can't they get it together with the pink? I love pink but have yet to find a really good shade by Hermes. I was disappointed with Rose Dragee as well (very chalky), but I've only seen it in photos. Bougainvillier is just too bright. The only H shade of pink I've ever loved is that Rose Indienne croc. Bois de Rose is a possibility, however...hoping, hoping...

Interesting how some people just don't like colors in epsom - I must say some are fine, I love my rouge garance epsom wallet (ghw) and am thinking of a black epsom bag, though it certainly doesn't take color like chevre.

I'm not a fan of toundra or curry either, and nothing very bright (although they work in the SLGs). I do love the olive greens, the various blues, etc., though most of my bags have been neutral (my favorite is etoupe in togo, boring though that may be), I do appreciate the "fun" shades like vert anis, iris, ciel, violet, etc.

Lagon. Something about it makes the leather (any leather) look plasticy. Kind of day-glo. Unlike other colours that I've not been a fan of, I've yet to see this look elegant or in any way effortless.

this thread is funny =) i love to see the diversity here =)
my NO NO color is rose de boise..omg i thought i dont like rubis enuf because when compared next to rouge garrance, rubis looked pale and dusty red....til i saw a kelly in rose de boise...i think i died at the spot.....it looks like rubis BUT covered in dust and flour!
oh and pink also...i mean i am a pink person but the PINK is really like pepto bismol and in slg i think its cute but as a whole bag (ive seen it in a birkin and lindys) omg...so pink til my head ache haha

oh the last one is blue jean....its not a bad color but so manyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy people has this...its like the it color for birkins 5 years ago...gosh...and my mom used to hv one and sooooo hard to wear except with jeans..
