This is hysterical, for every color someone doesn't like there is someone who loves it. Just as well!

I have very definite personal views, there are bags I see on other people that I would not wear in a million years for all kinds of reasons.

I just saw Rose de Bois in real life at Hermes in New York and did not like it, falls into the blah color range. And I do not like the bubblegum pink color either, specially because of the maroon contrast stitching, not the best combo H has come up with. But that is just me.

I think my friends Perigord and Pepper are pulling our legs about black, but this is my all time favorite H color, or non-color. I would have one of every bag they make in black thank you very much!

An important consideration is if the colour suits you! You may not like the colour but once you try it you may be surprised...!! For example: didn't like sanguine when I saw the leather sample but when I tried a Doremi in sanguine saw that it brightened me up! :yes:

Anything too bright or lively doesn't really appeal to me. I have never been attracted to Blue Jean, for example. I don't even want an H rainbow of SLG! :girlwhack:

However....I have made a notable exception for Violet. ;)

i absolutely agree

for example i love alezan, it's the color of wet cardboard but strangely i love it and no, i am not offended or hurt at all just because someone else finds it unattractive. now if you were to call me a fat ugly bimbo then yes...that'd really hurt

we're adults who are fully capable of understanding there is a difference in tastes and preferences.

it's good to have non gushy threads at times you know? mix things up a little.

Blue Jean: still cannot comprehend why its even popular and remains as 1 of H's classic(??) color season after season.

Bubble Gum Pink, Lagoon and Kiwi: All these colors remind me of "carebears", not glam!

castorny, great idea for a thread topic. What a treat it is to see everyone's likes and dislikes! Although there are many colors that I appreciate but would not fit my wardrobe (chocolate being one, which I know horrifies many of you LOL!), I think this is the first season where I've taken an active and strong dislike to a couple of colors. Neither kiwi nor sanguine have the slightest bit of elegance or fun that I would normally associate with Hermes leather. That said, and I know many who love it, I've never been a fan of ebene, as it somehow seems flat and lifeless to me.
