The Worst Hermes Color EVER!?

First, I hope none of these comments are hurting anyone's feelings. I remember a couple of months ago someone revealed a new-to-them Birkin in Blue Jean and she was ecstatic about having hunted it down in good condition. If you love your Blue Jean, don't worry that it isn't universally loved on this forum! You love it and that's all that matters.

I haven't seen many colors IRL so am only going by my computer screen in many cases. I'm not a fan of etoupe but I have a feeling that it's mostly because of the white stitching. I just don't think it looks good together. But the white stitching on my gold kelly looks natural to me. Go figure?

I had a blue orage picotin in clemence and bought it sight unseen. It was shipped to me from Hawaii when I lived on the east coast and was so disappointed with it. I saw a blue orage togo and loved it but in clemence, I just didn't like it.

My other dislikes are the neon color bags. Like the one Khloe K had painted recently. I didn't even like it to begin with and maybe she didn't either which is why she let that artist paint all over her bag?

I'm also not a fan of baby pink. So for all those wanting rose sakura, you have a little less competition.

i think we are all mature enough to realise it's not personal :p like i love love blue jean but it's one of the most mentioned colours on this thread. i say c'est la vie and vive la difference!

I love blue jean too. :p

For me, the 'winner' here will be toundra. Different strokes for different folks!

Vert anis. Love it in the pics posted here, but in meatspace it makes me run away. Nothing in the colour per se, really, just the nasty mental associations it gives me, like a trip gone bad. So kudos to those who love it and can wear it!

I know that etoupe is adored by many but I just can't stand it! It is so boring it raises my hackles.
There are plenty of other colours I wouldn't/couldn't wear such as cardomom, blue jean, sanguine, kiwi but I recognise that, in the right context, they are lovely colours. Just not for me. I love the look of chartreuse but I could NEVER wear it.

has been fun to see everyone's least favorite colors.
Especially it made me laugh that someone has posted a LIST of their worst color choices and they are ALL my favorites ! (Sanguine, Etain, Chocolate , Bois de Rose, Gold). Did not hurt my feelings at all!

What I don't like seems to be favorite of everyone else - bamboo, soleil, plomb, rose tyrien. And the worst of all is CURRY, which my SA dubbs "baby poo" color.

you will be surprised..some do take it personally! unfortunately..

anyway, i like blue jean too is such an easy colour to wear and match and instantly recognisable..i do not like the current crop of 50 shades of blues from H..every 6 months they lighten and/or darken the previous season shade of blue and call it something else...can't really tell the difference between any of them anymore...

worse colour though i have to say is himalayan - just looks like moldy bacteria growing all over the bag causing discolouration

I don't like Vert Anis, not at all...

Lol... yes, absolutely! I am not a fan of green colours with yellow bases. It does make me think of a bad medical infection. Pelouse is another color that i dislike. However.. I am a fan of neon greens like bambou and granny.

Frankly I agree about Hima... 😘😘😘 Also I think Blue Jean looks terrible on me along with some shades of brown (not cacao though)

re the himalayan, when i was young my dad knocked out a large snake, it fell unconscious or died (i'm not sure since i wasn't allowed to go near) and it turned that exact colour :laugh: so whenever i see it i think of a reptile who just fainted
