This thread is truely FUNNY!!!

I see that Rosy being mentioned a few times, eventhough I personally think it matches everything quite easily!

I dislike: Rouge H, Vert Veronase, chocolate, Lime and Kiwi.

I also find Blue Jean a colour that I thought would be easy to match, and it turned out the other way.

I think I just caught a glimpse of you with a Rosy Massai on another thread, sayuri! I have a Massai GM in Rosy, and it was great to see you wearing yours with jeans and a black blazer. I had been concerned about how to integrate the color into my wardrobe and now I am inspired! Also, while I like Blue Jean, ITA that it is actually a very distinctive color and, in fact, doesn't actually work all that well with jeans, ironically.

Mindi B i am sure as soon as you start using your rosy massai, you'll love the colour!

ITA with you on BJ, whilst Rosy goes well with my wardobe, BJ just doesn't.

Mindi B, I would think rosy could go well with a number of brown toned neutrals. It isn't a colour I could see myself getting (I don't wear a lot of brown) but I am sure it would work well with a neutral palette.

yes, in my ongoing like/hate relationship with my blue jean birkin... i saw that its 'bad side' comes out when near navy. i should've taken that as a cautionary hint since i was wearing a navy skirt into the boutique the day i got it! :rolleyes:
with the contrasting stitching it looks nice with white, light grey, and summer-y stuff though.
anyway, just checking in again on this thread to see how others feel about it!!!
hope y'all enjoy the colors you do have!

I hated blue jean until I got my Kelly Flat. It just works with a bag like that that is more casual than a formal Kelly.

So who knows? Maybe even the most hated colours could become preferred depending on the item or the design.

ITA. I've now tried it against khaki, various dark browns, and taupe, and it works with all of those. I'm also thinking it's good with "army"/olive green, grays, and of course the most classic neutrals like ivory, black, navy, etc. This season it has actually been fun to have a new Rosy item, because "coral" in all its forms is a big color for the season, and so there are lots of clothing options in that color family--everything from bright poppy to rust-red--that all work with Rosy. But I can completely understand why this very in-between color could be hard to love. I guess I wouldn't want it as my only H option.

I couldn't agree more! Some colours really work for me on casual bags, but would never consider buying a more 'serious' bag in that same colour.

the pepto bismol pink......it's scary:throwup:......when my SA show me a 35 B in that color, I told her never ever show me anything in that color again! :smash:

:laugh::laugh::laugh:

i agree. I also hate kiwi and sanguine. the latter is just an od sort of vomit-y concoction. it's neither orange nor red.
