Hi All I’m new here. I’m the husband everyone wants lol. I like fashion probably more than the wife and enjoy buying her nice designer bags and enjoy her to look good. I used to work in fashion shop years ago. I’m Looking to get a new WOC for her. It would be her FIRST Chanel. I Wanted to hear ur opinions on it and if anyone has heard of any bad batches etc on any recent seasonal merchandise. Here is a pic from the boutique near me. Price is now 2650.00 I was looking for a mini rectangle first but those are so hard to find. But the more I think about it as an entry and versitle piece this WOC seems to fit best. That would make for an excellent first Chanel! Black caviar and GHW is a quintessential classic combination and the WOC is very useful and versatile.

Hi all, not sure where I’m supposed to post this but appreciate your help on this. In the above post, a TPF member used my photo of the rose clair WOC (that I’d posted earlier in the Feb 2021 purchases thread) but the photo credit goes to Instagram. I only ever posted the photo in the aforementioned thread on TPF and nowhere else on social media, so what I find concerning is whether someone (a reseller?) on IG stole my photo and used it to scam people. Fdc (the TPF member who posted my photo in the quoted post) can’t remember the name of the IG account that used my photo without my consent.

Lesson learnt is to watermark photos going forward I guess, but what should I do about this situation with the rose clair WOC?

Haha hi! Indeed husband material! I'd say the classic WOC with gold hardware is a good entry piece! This is my first chanel too and I never regretted getting it. :heart:

I've never been interested in the WOC but I've seen a review or two that's piqued my interest. Does anyone think it might be best to get it preloved so I can see if I really like the functionality first for $1500 in a color I like or buy in the boutique in a color I love for $2600?

I would get it in the boutique so you can get the new magnetic closure unless there is a specific color you’re looking for that was seasonal. For $1500 the woc will likely not be in great condition.
