Does anyone else think that WOC is a little overpriced for what it is? I feel like it should be priced at $1850-$2000 than $2500. I’d rather get a mini flap at $3500.

Chanel should stop increasing the price of WOC because $2500 is already too much.

I'm looking into getting my first WOC this year. My question is, does the leather on the WOC in caviar change every year (in terms of softness, shininess, quality etc) and if so how many times a year? Does it change with each collection?

Is anyone able to tell me how the black caviar leather is on the WOC this year? I prefer a more matte look rather than a shiny look. Is this year's leather more shiny? Should i wait until the next collection?

It's absolutely overpriced, imo. But then, I believe Chanel is overpriced, anyway!

I got my first one in 2011, it was $1250. The prices now are ridiculous. Never will I ever buy another Chanel. The quality and craftsmanship is not what it used to be.

I just purchased mine in January and it is definitely more matte black and not a true jet black. They only had 3 in stock some more matte than others. I don’t remember them looking that way last year. But I will say that mine feels thicker that what I remembered last years feeling. Not as lux feeling however more durable and substantial feeling if that makes sense.

When I went to the boutique, I was debating between ghw or shw, since I want use it as a daytime bag also with casual outfits, but dang.... when SA showed me both, I was instantly drawn to the gold one!

I have 4 WOCs (black, blue, silver, and pink). The more life changes (I'm a new mother with a 15 month old baby), the more I realize WOCs don't really fit my lifestyle anymore. They're just too small...can barely hold my phone and lipstick. I never thought I would say this but I'm actually thinking about selling some of the WOCs and replacing them with minis (still want a crossbody style). Anyone else feel this way?

I wouldn’t sell all of them. I expect you will find them appropriate for you lifestyle again in the future. They will be a lot more expensive to replace.

But, yes, I have been drawn to different style bags at different points in my life. I have bags I love that don’t get carried for a time but then become workhorses again.

I own two wocs and a rectangular mini. I like my caviar rectangular mini but use it less often because it’s not as carefree as the wocs. I don’t want the mini to lose it’s structure. I don’t think I’ll ever sell my wocs and will probably buy one more in the future. I love using them on date nights and when we travel. They are like jewelry to me. I find them very elegant. I also toss my wocs in the diaper bag without worrying about them (both are caviar).
Maybe you can sell two wocs when the markets picks up again and replace them with a mini. Then if you love using the mini more than wocs, you could make a decision to sell another woc or both if they no longer bring you joy. I would be careful though because of the ever increasing prices. In my opinion, nobody does a woc like Chanel and if I didn’t have at least one in my collection, it would feel incomplete.

i'm in the exact same situation! won's are so cute but mostly for date/girls nights out.
