I do too. I wrap the felt around bag leaving the chain out so it’s not in contact with any part of the bag, inside or out.

I’m thinking about getting a WOC and would love to use it for travel. Do passports fit in the long ‘hidden’ pocket?
I don't store the chains inside my flaps, but I make an exception for the WOC. I place the chains inside (wrapped in fabric) and put the felt piece between the snap and the flap. Then I place the whole thing in its dustbag. I guess I just don't see how that little chain can hurt the bag.
Hello purse lovers , finally got my first chanel a few months ago. It was purchased in Harrods London by another forum lover that I was able to grab a final one , being it was sold out everywhere in NYC where I am from : it’s the Chanel iridescent mother of pearl flap! Hello! Been a bit of a lurker on this forum - it's such a guilty pleasure! But this morning, I finally got a WOC (my FIRST CHANEL, I'm so happy!) My husband very kindly picked it up on his way through Heathrow (least he could do as he's off to Vegas with the boys) so, sadly, I missed out on the actual buying experience.
I'd done loads of research on leathers, patterns, colours and hardware, and still came back to a classic in black caviar. My question is, however, is it correct that the classic black only comes in gold or silver hardware? I ideally wanted light gold or champagne, but the SA said it was only gold or silver. It made my decision easy to just get the gold, and luckily they had one available, but I was just curious...

Oh no! Well I just purchased it today from depop so I have not received it yet. I've just asked the seller if she can cancel the transaction. Not sure what to do if she doesn't agree to

I'm looking into getting my first WOC this year. My question is, does the leather on the WOC in caviar change every year (in terms of softness, shininess, quality etc) and if so how many times a year? Does it change with each collection?
Is anyone able to tell me how the black caviar leather is on the WOC this year? I prefer a more matte look rather than a shiny look. Is this year's leather more shiny? Should i wait until the next collection?
