Just received this WOC! It's new for Cruise... chevron grained calf with brushed gold hardware
I wasn't 100% sure on it yet. Thoughts?

This WOC has it all! Different and classic at the same time!
The classic CHANEL logo snap closure, yet with the leather of the 2.55 style. The fact that it is in black adds to the iconic CHANEL look.
With the subdued gold hardware and chevron quilting you have a different combination of classic CHANEL design elements all in one beautiful WOC. Gorgeous!

I'm so glad you asked! It is aged calfskin.
It was on the United States CHANEL.com site until the Cruise 16/17 collection arrived, but I saved pictures with the identifying numbers. StarBrite310 describes hers as "new for Cruise", so perhaps there are some aged calfskin chevron WOC's out there.

No, I purchased it from a company based in New York. The only other one I have seen was posted here on the forum, and it was purchased in Paris. I know, it is so ridiculous sometimes the hoops we jump through to then spend our money

I think that pic is bleached out a little. Here is the photo my SA sent. I think it is a perfect medium gray.

You can see the effects of different lighting. But I don't think the color would be too pale.

Hello WOC lovers. I need some help. I owned a gorgeous black Caviar WOC that I recently sold to fund a red Caviar WOC. Red makes my heart sing more, I just LOVE the red Caviar. Unfortunately, i received it today from Fashionphile and I'm disappointed. The listing just described it as red. The tag attached to it says dark red. To me it looks orangey red which I definitely don't want. I wanted the lipstick red (like what was listed in the pic). Also, the leather and chain aren't up to par imo. My black one was soft, luscious, puffy, etc. It's hard to explain, but this one just feels cheap. I wanted to get your thoughts on this. I'm attaching the listing, as well as a few pics I snapped tonight. Many thanks in advance.
