Does anyone know if the boy WOC in black caviar leather is only sold as a seasonal piece? If that's the case, does that really mean they won't be selling it again until the season it belongs to comes back around?

Personally, I think it is beautiful! :heart:
I do agree that the Fashionphile pictures look like a brighter shade of red, but I don't think it looks orange in your pictures. I understand that one WOC can feel puffy and others not. I think there is often a difference between the "Made in France" and "Made in Italy" (or Spain) WOC's. When searching online I was so obsessed I could often guess in which country the WOC was made from just one photo of the front. Some people love the puffiness of the Italy/Spain WOC's while others want the slimness of the France. Before I viewed the Fashionphile pics I could see this was a France WOC, which is elegant and gorgeous, but just might not be what you were looking for at this time.
I am interested in what others think, and I wish you all the best in deciding what to do!!

Thanks so much for your reply! I definitely think that's what it is--my black WOC was made in Spain so I assumed this one would feel the same. I will admit the more I'm staring at her the more I'm loving her. I'm just curious, were you searching for a Spain or France? This one is definitely elegant, and in sunlight it's a gorgeous color of red. [emoji173]️

I'm glad that you are starting to love it, and that you shared your thoughts and photos here! :smile: It can be shocking at first when an expensive online item is not exactly what you expected, but your red seems pretty fabulous to me. (The quote in your avatar is great! I appreciate this forum to have others to discuss these fun "issues" that a lot of people just don't understand. ;))
I was searching for a "Made in France" because...some of the CHANEL double flaps I have are already puffy and I wanted the WOC to be different - slim and for when I want to feel like I'm carrying very lightly. It looked to me as if the classic WOC shown on the CHANEL.com site appeared slimmer too, and I wanted one as close to the original designers' intention as possible. I had also heard that the workplaces that manufacturer the items "Made in France" only manufacturer for CHANEL, whereas the Italy and Spain manufacturers also produce for other brands. I suppose with no CHANEL boutique in my area I was focused on getting as close to this French design house as I could without actually being there. Lastly, I have bought pre-loved CHANEL bags and during my searches for those I found it interesting to see how the bags age. The ones that start out very puffy deflate with time and I didn't like the indentations that occur. I figured that if I start with a slim caviar leather it might age well - it won't sag or indent in each quilt because the leather is not stretched from extra puffy quilting.
Can you tell I put a little thought into this before I purchased?:lol:
I totally respect those who want the puffier WOCs! They are beautiful too!

My WOC is made in France and I was jealous of everyone with puffier ones haha! Hearing you say this makes me feel better about my flat as a pancake one because, as you said, it's something different [emoji16]

I cannot thank you enough for your insight and comments. I am a Chanel rookie, and it definitely makes me feel better and more excited about my purchase having heard from you! Many many thanks for taking the time to reply. I think I will cut the tags and wear her with pride! One last question--I've asked this in another thread and haven't received a response yet--do you happen to know what season my WOC is from? I've done research and tried to pinpoint it, but can't seem to figure it out. I think it's 2015, but don't know what season. [emoji173]️IMG_1480779756.626407.jpgIMG_1480779769.645902.jpg

The specific season I do not know. I suppose you don't have any other sticker or tag or would would have shared that as well. Someone out there might know eventually!
You are welcome and thanks for all of the kind words. :hugs:I am happy for you and I am super glad that I could feel as if I had the chance to share in your purchase! :biggrin:

Congratulations wow twin!!! :smile::smile::smile::smile::smile:
Every time i see someone post a picture of the red woc, it makes me so happy to have one too. The Chanel Red is truly stunning!
Enjoy your beautiful woc :heart:

I know this is probably a stupid question - but where can I find the "made in" on my Chanel woc? My bags say it right under the Chanel logo but on my woc it just has the interlocking c's. I purchased it in like new condition from Yoogiscloset so I never questioned the authenticity. It certainly looks and feels authentic.
