I'm just curious why this person didn't want her name mentioned in the documentary. If she's an attorney her name could be found out on legal paperwork filed at the court where some information is available to the public.
Wasn’t the tone of the documentary skewed to be pro-family, anti-guardian? Would you want your name in a TV show where some whack job might hear it and start harassing you for doing your job?

To make matters worse, Wendy didn’t pay her NYC property taxes several years ago and the Federal Government has filed a lien.

It is interesting as an example of poor judgement all around, imo.
If it stops people from getting into bad habits and goes into therapy, that would be a success. Besides that, it is so sad.
As far as her feet, she had lymphedema for a few years.
it's sad what has happened to her but I find her less sympathetic than Britney....she is a grown woman and did much of this to herself....not saying I can't sympathize with addicts or people with weaknesses but I guess not as much as a young girl who is used by others

I'm not sure at what point this person had prior knowledge of what direction the show was going into before they tried to stop the movie from airing but their lawsuit was shot down and either way their name was still leaked. There's more behind why the lawsuit was filed but I prefer to wait and see if there's more credible information.

Since the airing of the documentary this was floating around about this guardianship not being too ethical in handling past clients finances. Right now until more facts are proven there's no proof that the guardianship is mismanaging Wendy Williams money.

The headline is misleading when compared to what is in the article. The lawyer who filed the lawsuit dropped it last year. Sounds like it was his firm’s fault a guardian was involved.

The amount of sought punitive damages from all defendants was $30 million. However, it’s reported that in August of 2023, Flomenhaft filed to discontinue “the above-entitled action without prejudice, and without costs to either party as against the other.”

I don’t know anything about this woman, but it was the courts that assigned her to Wendy because it was apparent she could no longer handle her finances. It’s not like she came out of the shadows and took over Wendy’s affairs. The bank noticed something alarming about her accounts and locked them. Somebody (possibly Wendy herself or a family member) was blowing through so much money it became cause for concern. The court records were sealed so we won’t know the specifics.

In Wendy’s case, she has not been in charge of her affairs for so long.
I can’t really blame her.
Plus in the case of NY, it is incredibly hard to remove people from their properties.
One of my neighbors stayed in her house without paying anything mortgage or taxes for over ten years while living her best life.
She also ripped off people as well.
She now lives in Florida and was never in any trouble besides loosing the house.

juicy interview with WW.
The good stuff about Kelvin, the street pharmacist starts at around the 12 minutes. Enjoy!

WENDY WILLIAMS GUARDIAN LAWSUIT AGAINST A&E DOC UNSEALED ...Insight Into Her Condition

Wendy Williams' guardian sued unsuccessfully to block the release of the new documentary following her struggles ... and now the lawsuit's unsealed -- and it gives an inside look at Williams' day-to-day.

Here's the deal ... the former talk show host's temporary guardian Sabrina Morrisseysued back in February to stop the “Where is Wendy Williams?" doc from coming out -- an attempt that ultimately failed, as we now know.

Those legal docs were originally sealed ... but now, they are available for anyone to peruse -- and they provide a look into both Morrissey's argument and her description of Williams' recent condition.

In the paperwork, obtained by TMZ, Morrissey argued Williams was incapable of handling her own business affairs when she signed the documentary contract. Same goes for her executive producer role -- Morrissey says Williams wasn't able to handle such a job effectively ... including not being able to properly shape how she was portrayed.

SM said WW's ability to care for herself has deteriorated since beginning the guardianship too ... and she says now Wendy needs constant daily supervision to "ensure her safety, well-being, and comfort, and to preserve her dignity."

Morrissey claimed she was originally told the doc would present Williams' comeback story, ultimately showing Wendy in a positive light -- and Morrissey said she was under the impression she would get to see the finished product before it was released.

Sabrina added she was totally blindsided when the trailer came out ... because she said she never saw a final cut of the doc.

Of course ... days before the doc came out, Wendy's team revealed she was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia and aphasialast year, and she entered a treatment center to deal with her health issues as well.

The creative team behind the documentary said they never would've made it had they known about the diagnosis ... though it seems hard to believe they had no indication of her health struggles given the kind of care Morrissey detailed in her suit.

Bottom line ... the story behind "Where is Wendy Williams?" just got a whole lot murkier.

Looks like a lot of finger pointing since this documentary was aired. To me the guardianship is trying to do damage control because they weren't depicted positive in this documentary. If they approved of filming why didn't they make sure to see what was going to be aired WAY before the announced date? 🤔 I'm more interested in why Wendy Williams family doesn't know her location as to where's she's being treated at, the immediate family cannot contact her. I'm sure no one in Wendy Williams immediate family was a threat to her safety not sure about the mess with the ex-husband. After the Brittany Spears guardianship fiasco some people are starting to think this whole process is crooked when there's large sums of money and real estate involved but where's the checks and balances?

The most disturbing aspect is that the family could not join WW themselves.
Her father is 90 years old, is he a threat?
Is there a therapeutic reason for a person idled by dementia to be separated from her kin?
I would not put anything past Kelvin. He is a certified thug.
As far as the money, it seems like it was a free for all. Nobody appears to be fiscally prudent in this situation.
OTOH, Wendy made that money and she should be able to indulge in a nice lifestyle.
Buy into a luxury memory care facility and let the rest be spent as she sees fit.
