New Bond Street told me it was one of the options for HM and had one on display. It's the only style I would be interested in making. I'd be bummed if that wasn't true.

Hmm, that's interesting. If that's the case it must be a new addition.
From the selection I had from last year, there were 8 styles not including capucines but maybe that is a new addition to the selection.

Does anyone know how much the Haute Maroquinerie Capucines would be? Gotta plan my next big purchase. [emoji4]
Hi - Yes, you can order a Capucines through HM. I ordered one last September and received it just before Christmas. I've been meaning to post a reply with my pictures, but haven't had the time. I ordered the larger sized MM and, with the leathers I chose the pricing ran about $7600. Of course, depending on what you choose, it could be more. I'll post pictures in a bit.

Good luck! :smile1:

Hi Everyone -

Here's an update on my Capucines Haute Maroquinerie. I received it just before Christmas - but we were away on vacation pretty much all of January. After that, it was all work, work, work, work.

Here's the picture of the bag - my new baby - I've been so impressed with it. And an absolutely wonderful service.

I've put my name on the list for a couple of LV items from the AW16 collection recently shown. Hopefully, by then I do a much better job of keeping everyone updated!

Thank you! The turn around isn't as terrible as I thought it would be! That's like 3 months!
And for HM, I anticipated that price range. Thank you for the info!

Absolutely gorgeous bag!

How does one get the opportunity to get a Haute Maroquinerie? Is it only available in Paris?
Hi - Only certain stores have an Haute Maroquinerie service, or atelier. I go to the San Fran store on Union Square. New York would most likely have the service as well. And no, if you look at my previous posts, I wasn't even a VIP client, but I asked about changing out the colors for the Capucines, and they quickly got me to the HM area to select the leathers.

When I went to the San Fran store, they had just started the HM service with ANY bag - according to my SA, I was the first one to do an HM Capucines (not sure if that's really true, but it was a nice touch - maybe that's why I keep going back).

I should see if the Chicago store has HM service.

Hi! i'm curious how folks are liking their HM piece. Would you do it again - any regrets? Has the quality of the bag held up? Are you happy with your color and style decision?

I'm considering the Noe and had a wonderful visit with my boutique to try on the various bags. I love the how the HM line is understated. However, I wish there were more styles - in particular with shoulder strap options. So not sure if I should pull the trigger on the HM Noe. It is beautiful and versatile so leaning towards yes...!

I have 3 HM bags and love them all! Yes there are limited styles, but the bags come in different sizes and are custom made to your requirements. You choose the colour, leather and colour of the hardware, so you get exactly what you want. The quality is second to none too. Mine are holding up really well, and I'm no expert, but the quality is on a par with Hermes IMHO. (My SA said lots of clients who are Hermes VIP's and have a lot of H bags have been buying the HM and liking them too). As long as there is a style you like you can design your own perfect bag.

Why don't you take a look and then decide?

Thanks for your response, Handbag1234! Which 3 HM bags do you have? I am considering the Noe in navy blue with the violet interior. Below is a photo of the sample blue Noe with the violet fabric swatch draped inside. (I was drawn to violet Noe they showed me but it's probably a little bright for me so we thought it would be a great interior pop of color instead.) I love that I can wear the Noe 3 ways as it will primarily be a weekend casual bag but with the option for work or other occasion if needed. And maybe I will even let my husband carry bottles of wine in it!! It's good to know about the quality. I was very impressed with the leather, the ease of the drawstring, and just the overall detailing. I wish they had other bags with shoulder strap options, though. (If you have the Noe, do you wear it cross body? Does it start to feel heavy?) I am 90% leaning towards the Noe. However, I am drooling over the City Steamer bag now. Too many choices!!

Mine held up very well. In fact it just went through a 12 hour flight with me as carry on sitting in overhead locker without a problem. I am very please with the quality. It also got caught in a down pour once and after I went home I just let it sits on shelf and air dry, no marks left on leather.

Thank you, littledesigner, for your feedback! It looks like you own the Milaris (based on your photo). What color is it? It is beautiful!

I have to agree with you that the leather quality is really excellent and so glad to hear that it's sturdy through different weathers and situations. I don't like to baby my bags.

My husband also likes the thought of a custom bag so he is supportive (until the bill comes...ha, ha). Based on the comments so far, I must proceed with the HM Noe!
