Can't wait to see your bag! I designed a blue canard milaris but haven't hit the order button yet in store.

Although it doesn't have a strap option which is essential for me, but it is too beautiful to say no to it. I have been hunting for a bag in the right size, right colour and right leather for too long. Although it is not the right price, too expensive in my view, but I still can't resist it!

I agree! I asked about adding a strap and was told no. Man it would have been the absolutely PERFECT bag with a strap.

I hear you...a strap would have made it the PERFECT bag!

Hi everyone - I'm relatively new here - meaning this is my first post/reply to a thread, but have been trolling off and on for years! I just came back from a business trip and got to experience the HM process actually by accident.

I walked into the LV store and inquired about the Capucines. The store didn't have the color I wanted, but mentioned that they have a custom process that I could do. So I said, "OK!" The Client Advisor was so low key and super friendly about it that I was convinced that this was a normal process for them (taking someone off the street into an 'atelier' of sorts). It was only after I selected my colors, the a hardware and the name on the patch that they told me that this was the first HM order at the store.

So after going through the process and meeting the wonderful sales people at the store, I am absolutely in love with LV again! My question is: approximately how long did the whole bag-making process take? The salesperson told me the bag will be ready by end of February 2016, but it will most likely be earlier than expected. Note that the order went through most likely Wednesday, September 16.

The welcome at the LVstore is quite different from my visits at Hermes - note that I am not a regular customer of Hermes, but I do have a Birkin (30 cm) and a Massai and I only buy from 1 store, but this process can definitely change my mind!

Thank you in advance for any responses.

Hi there! Congrats on your pending HM! It's soo great getting a custom piece. Which style did you order and what colours?
I just went through the process myself a few months back. I was told between 5-6months for the bag to be produced.
I'm waiting until December to order mine so I can receive for my birthday next year.

Hi - thank you for your response! I ordered the Capucines MM with the following color scheme: Aubergine for the outside, Gris Souris for the inside, palladium hardware.

I originally asked for black on the outside with a different inside color, but when I went to select the colors, the Aubergine stood out.

I can't wait and hopefully it comes a little sooner than late Feb. 2016. Will take pics when it arrives. And I am now plotting to order my next bag.:graucho:

Thank you!
