I was thinking exactly the same thing when I was going through this thread. The difference is what's lacking: the top closure (no double zip/flap) and the shoulder strap attached to the handles, which are the most practical aspects of the Lindy when I use mine.

And the Triangle looks so much like the Paris Bombay it makes my heart flutter. I only spoke to my SM at H the other week, and it doesn't look like the PB is on the horizon anytime soon. I'm conflicted; wait forever for H with limited leather availability (I'm thinking more chèvre rather than colours), or completely custom LV-HM...

These reveals are absolutely beautiful though. The same afternoon after H, i stopped by Laduree and a lady in front of me had obviously just picked up hers (LV shopper in the other hand and it looked box new) and it was lovely.

Someone asked me a while back for the colors on my coral colored Lockit. I finally found the origninal receipt so here goes:

Exterior Leather: Veau Soie (smooth texture)
Exterior Color: Capucine

Interior Lining: Chevre
Interior Color: Grenade

Hope you are all enjoying your HM bags. My husband keeps asking why mine is still on display on the dining room table, lol.

I haven't even received my first HM yet, and already I'm dreaming of what to get next. Oh dear the 'I'll order my perfect bag and then I'm done' arguement doesn't get much mileage does it?!

Does anyone know if you have to be invited to order another HM, or can you just ask your SA? I don't want to have an awkward conversation with my SA....

I do understand if there is a limit, as the production is limited, so its only fair that customers get a chance to order one, before others order second bags.

I know what you mean! I had a Lindy and sold it. I liked it, but sold it to fund a kelly. It was a neutral colour, and I then bought a neutral kelly, so I felt I didn't need both. If it was a brighter seasonal colour, I may have kept it. But I have ordered the Milaris. They are similar, but the Milaris is a hand held bag. Depending on your size, you may just be able to get it over your shoulder if not wearing a coat- but its not a shoulder bag. Like a Lindy the Milaris is boxy and can hold a lot, or folds flatter when there is less in it.

I ordered the Milaris to fill the void in my collection of a 30 birkin. I liked the idea of a zipped up bag, with secure outside pockets.

I m sure they are very welcome if you are thinking another HM, that mean you truly love it! Please go and order it!!!!!!

Does anyone know the starting price of a lockit GM? I'm having difficulties deciding if I want to design a lockit GM or purchase an Hermes HAC 40cm. Decisions decisions....

Not sure, probably about the same price as a birkin. There won't be much in it.

It depends on whether you'd rather have a birkin or custom designed lockit.

Tough choice!

I have birkins, so it was an easier decision for me to go for a custom designed bag instead.

How about one of each if you have the funds? If so, I'd order your dream leather/ colour combination in a gm lockit, and then get a neutral coloured birkin, as and when you can lay your hands on one.

Mark Jacobs has several HM gm lockits- or so I was told!

Hmmmmmm... I already have a 40cm birkin in Gris Tourtelle, I wanted the HAC for travel but I do like the idea of designing my own lockit GM. I was thinking about a chocolate exterior and cobalt interior since cobalt is my favorite color!
