Thanks cali_moon, I now know why you all feel the way you do about the HM collection once you get your order. Looking at all our bags on this thread, they are all so different and beautiful. My bag has ticked all the boxes for me.

I would recommend having a look at the HM. I have several Hermes bags and the quality of the HM bags are on a par with my birkins, Kelly and Constance.You know, I was thinking about having a chat with my SA at Hermes about my next Birkin but after seeing these gorgeous bags...I could be wavering - maybe I should talk to the lovely SAs at LV first!!
My SA told me they have had orders from several 'serious' Hermes bag collectors, who are used to the best quality money can buy.

I am planning a quick trip to Hermes late next week to just start the discussion - I definitely would like another Birkin, but whereas I had been thinking of getting an equivalent work bag in indigo or something similarly sombre, I think it would be much more fun to go for a real colour POP with my next Birkin and to get the lockit MM in a fairly conservative colour such as a navy or black. I think I will pop into LV the same afternoon as it's quite nearby

I know a little French, and I mean to learn more this year, but I've never seen this word. I hope someday to have one, I know if I did my cheeks would get sore-both sets, if you know what I mean- as I'd never stop smiling.

The peonounciation is hot maroccaneri. With emphasis on the RI at the end.

I know what you mean about grinning - I still keep smiling when I look at the box containing my lovely.
The pronounciation is really hard, every time I ask someone in the store each SA pronounces it differently and some are even French so as a mere English woman I haven't got a hope to say it correctly. They all refer to it as the HM collection - it was originally going to be called constellation which is much easier to say. Still the nearest I can get phonetically is marokinerie with the emphasis on the "kin".
