I love all your posts, from epic fails to this comment about the formulaic colors this season. The formula they actually call "purplish" (did an adult make that up???) makes all the scarves in that category look alike, IMO. And I even bought the Grand Prix in that CW.

Moma you are AWESOME! Sending a huge hug to you!!! [emoji8][emoji8][emoji8]
Yes, purplish LOL what IS that??? And that's not to say it isn't pretty (because it really is!!) but does every design need to be in that scheme?

ITA about the colorways, BBC and moma. This seems to me clearly a money-saving approach--only one limited set of inks required for ALL the 90s. And this regardless of whether these colors maximize every design or suit a variety of complexions. I'm voting with my wallet this year on the silks.

You nailed it, Mindi B. There cannot be any other reason than cost savings. And of course I don't want to be a hypocrite and suddenly get all thrilled when the colors go my way but being a scarfie for (yikes!) 20+ years it was always so much fun to see the variety, the exciting and/or unexpected color combinations that H could produce. Every. Season. [emoji848]

And the converse as well - if only one of the colorways suits you, it's a deterrent to buying multiple designs (for me, anyway, with my small collection I don't want several designs in exactly the same colors, need variety to justify the purchase prices).

Absolutely no disrespect to the pastel-milk-shake-shade lovers (a few of my last purchases have been much softer shades) but TBH I think ish describes the cw quite well. It's a bit sad one of the few times 'H-does-purple' it's more like H-does-ish.
